On our recent trip to Naples, we came across this really cool looking Mexican restaurant. But as cool as it looked from the outside, nothing could have prepared us for what we were about to experience on the inside.
THE DECOR: I've been to LOT'S of restaurants but I've never seen anything like this. The best words describe it is "modern mexican eclectic" if there's such a thing. From top to bottom, this restaurant has something cool to look at. From its super funky lights, wall art, backlight walls filled with soda bottles, to cowhide furniture, it's a feast for the eyes. I felt as though we were dining in an art gallery.
THE VIBE To my surprise, they were playing 80s music while we were there, and we loved it. The music level was perfect - not too loud, so we didn't have to scream at each other from across the table. Thanks for that, Roccos!
We actually went back for drinks the next night and heard some really nice Reggeatone as well, so they clearly mix things up.
THE COCKTAILS Rocco Tacos offers a really nice variety of cocktails as well as mocktails. Since I was not drinking that night, I opted for the very delicious Pinita.
For those in the mood for exotic alcoholic drinks, you will not be disappointed as the drinks menu is very robust.
THE FOOD Without a doubt, the dinner I had here was the most satisfying and delicious one I had while in Naples.
I ordered the Al Carbon entree - yellow rice, black beans, red onions, plantains, and chicken breast. To my surprise, the meal came with two chicken breasts. Everything on the plate was just bursting with flavor. The plantains were perfectly cooked, the black beans were flavorful, and the chicken was well seasoned.
I left Rocco Tacos feeling satiated and satisfied.
THE SERVICE As if the food, drinks, and decor weren't enough, our wonderful server Nicole M was beyond efficient, professional, and oh what a ball of happy energy!
She answered all our questions, helped our vegan friend with meal choices, suggested drinks, and attended to our group with enthusiasm and warmth.
Thank you, Nicole M, for making our experience at Rocco Tacco so amazing. You're a gem of a gal, and the company should feel VERY fortunate to have you.
FINAL WORDS If you enjoy food that's bursting with flavor - mexican or Caribbean type of flavor, then you owe it to yourself to dine at Rocco Tacos.
If you happen to be visiting Naples or anywhere in Florida where there's a Roccos, I very highly recommend visiting this restaurant. You will not be...

We visited Rocco’s Tacos in Naples, and I’m already counting down the days until I can go back. Everything about this place—from the food to the ambience—was outstanding.
Let’s start with the guacamole. I eat guac daily, and theirs is hands-down the BEST I’ve ever had. It’s made fresh right at your table, and the flavors are absolutely perfect. I almost ordered a second serving because I couldn’t get enough. The homemade chips they serve with it are crispy, warm, and the perfect match.
The chicken wings were charred to perfection, with a smoky, juicy flavor that’s unforgettable. As for the tacos, we tried three: crispy fish, carne asada, and birria. The birria tacos were the clear winner—juicy, flavorful, and just heavenly. If you’re getting tacos, go for the birria!
The salsas they bring to the table are also worth mentioning. The brown salsa has a sweet, honey-chipotle-like flavor that’s not spicy but so addictive. The orange habanero salsa? Wow. It’s spicy enough to make steam come out of your ears but still packed with amazing flavor.
Don’t even get me started on the tres leches dessert. It was to die for. Not too sweet, with a unique twist—meringue on top that had a perfectly toasted crust, served with fresh strawberries and bananas. It was the best way to end the meal, and I’d honestly go back just for that.
The service was excellent and super fast, and the lively, vibrant atmosphere made me feel like I was back home in Miami. The passion fruit margarita pitcher was not only delicious but also had us feeling amazing all night—it’s a must-try!
The rice wasn’t anything special, but the refried beans completely made up for it. Next time, I’m definitely trying the elote because I hear great things.
If I could, I’d eat here every day. For my next visit, my go-to order will definitely be the table-side guacamole, passion fruit margarita, birria tacos, chicken wings, and tres leches. Rocco’s Tacos is an unforgettable experience, and I’m thrilled to know there’s a location in Miami so I can relive it when I’m back home....
Read moreJust an update about my experience on March 31st when visiting Rococos Taco not only was my experience horrible by the waiter Brandon my card was illegally charged 2 times for the amount of 125.79 when called to talk to manager Andrew I was asked a million questions before they put me on hold to speak with him. Since being on hold for so long I had actual went passed there and they were not busy at all so was confused why I was on hold for so long. I didn’t feel like a priority being a customer. Than when I spoke with Andrew on the phone and explained that brandon illegally ran my card for the 125.79 twice I never signed or gave my card for this total. I was told they were fixing my bill since our drink had a bug in it and I got a dish I didn’t order and didnt eat as well as I was charged for chips and salsa and a queso when told by our waiter this was for the long wait and we wouldn’t be charged than I ordered a mango margarita and was charged 11 dollars for margarita and 1 dollar for mango no where on menu did it show a up charge for flavor. Also I ordered a blended and when received the margarita it was not blended all the way and had tons of ice chunks in it when talking to Andrew the manager he said thats because they don’t usual serve blended margaritas. All in all Im very unimpressed and disappointed with the service the horrible communication and being illegally charged 2 times than also charged 74.20 and didn’t get a break down of what I was paying for just a receipt. At that point I just was so annoyed and ready to go so I signed the 74.20 payment. Something needs to be done about this illegal matter I had to call bank to dispute this transaction. Than when I told Andrew I think I may need to hire a lawyer about this he hurry up and asked for my number and texted my the right total with picture of receipt and said he would talk to my bank and agree this was not suppose to be charged as well as not be charged twice. I hope others never experience what I had this is a nightmare. Picture below of chunky margarita and my fajitas which...
