AWFUL!! I came to these guys to buy a long board for my 7 year old. We rode it for a half day of which I supervised because she could not paddle it. I could not ride it because I found it far too flexible. If the fins touched sand it would have been with her 50lb frame. After I came out of the water I discovered the fin boxes had broke loose from the board. I brought the back to shop that day and asked what could be done I waited about an hour to hear from the manager that there would be no concession on a trade in or repair. I broke the board and now it would be treated as a used trade in. I went down the street to a local place I had purchased a few boards from years ago. They pointed out the poor construction of the fin boxes and that this board had the wrong size fins in the slots. They said they could fix the board right, put the correct fins in it and resell it. So they offered me more $ for the trade than Aqua east and set me up with a nice single fin long board that could be surfed by me and my daughter. The first time I went in, every customer service person was either condescending or outright rude. I went to find a salesperson to ask a question, but the scornful glare I received as I approached stopped me in my tracks. Okay, fine. Maybe it was a fluke. So I went in again with a family member, and the experience we had will forever guide me to recommend everyone I know to shop elsewhere. They are very helpful around the store, give great advice, they looked for cheaper alternatives to my picks which were always a bit pricey. In my book they past every criteria I look for in an experience through an outdoor shop/store.
