Overpriced, bland food, and the service was worst than what you get at McDonald's.
I had a horrible experience- primarily with the employee "Alvarez D." She was giving me a nasty attitude at the register for takeout orders, and she actually turned her back and walked away while i was talking. Seriously!?!
Then when i go to the seating area to eat the burger i just bought there, she follows me and starts yelling that i can't eat there. She started a huge uncomfortable scene that I've never experienced. The manager had to get called because i was heated. She's extremely unprofessional.
And then after i explained that I'll be sitting and buying something ADDITIONAL (for the privelege to sit š¤āļø) they backed off... I walk up to the other register to give my order and the waitress aggressively tells me to sit and she'll come...
"Lopez C.' Is her name.
She comes and asks for my order. No name, no hello, not even a "no problem, it will be right out".... She's as cold as a cemetery. Then i hear her talk to some others with a little enthusiasm- a little closer to how a good waitress should behave... She wasn't absolutely fantastic with the others, but she was much better than how she was with me.
I will definitely NEVER be eating here again. Overpriced with subpar food. It's even overpriced for an airport restaurant.... The burger and yogurt desperately need flavor. I didn't even eat the potato wedges that came with my meal.
Don't go to Spring Chicken even if you're going to die of starvation. Just go to a vending machine because the service and "food" will be much better.

The one positive was the other waitress, Elinette. She was the only waitress/cashier that seemed nice.
My bill for the food in the eating area was about $9 including automatic tip. I told my waitress (Lopez C) to take off the ~$1.31 tip. Before i left I gave Elinette $20.00 tip just for being nice....

It had been a very long day in an international flight so we ordered our food to go, because our flight was scheduled to board in 10 mins, however the flight was delayed shortly after our food was ready so we went back and asked to sit inside the restaurant to eat because our flight was delayed and I was immediately rejected by Laura, who appeared to be annoyed that to took her attention away from texting on her phone and when I asked if we could sit at a high top table to eat our food we purchased she immediately flung her hand up and frowned her face telling us we could not eat inside since we ordered our food to go. Even after asking politely and attempting to explain why we ordered to go she cut me off sayung "To go is To go.. Sorry" and walk off... It is a Wednesday evening at 8:30pm and there was 1 table (a couple) in the restaurant sitting and eating. I spoke with the manager on duty who seemed to not care or assist with a resolution to my concern. I spent over $45 on two meals and had to eat it beside the trash can. I would NOT recommend this...

Not because I didnāt order egregiously high-calorie laden food, but, it was inedible. Unfortunately, the sausage in this biscuit looked pre-cooked (it was), looked 3 days old (couldāve been) & the biscuit was indeed stale & dry (yesterday?)ā¦I took 3 bites of egg (starving), 2 of sausage w biscuit, and threw the rest in garbage.
I wanted to give a new place a try as Starbucks is my usual āgo to.ā The coffee was ok but the blueberry muffin was also stale & near inedible as well. Big waste of money but it couldāve been great & I am an optimist! No luck today⦠the worst part if the experience, however, is the lid didnāt fit on coffee & I almost spilled it twice, once on my duffel bag.
Lastly, when I sat at the barstool counter I saw the server give me a mean look & realized I was sitting in ādine in onlyā (the entire restaurant seating is designated as such.)š„¹ Well, no worries, throwing out the biscuit took 1 min. (Letās give paying customers the stools, letās not be stingy š).
Definitely wonāt go there...
