On 11/15/23 at 1830 hours, I went out to eat for dinner here with my family and usually it's a good time, good food, decent service but today since it was Wednesday, the restaurant was pretty packed and staff was visibly stressed out. No big deal on that part I can understand and have empathy for that but our waiter today wasn't as helpful as you would expect when you dine in. For starters our waiter waited a long time to get us a bread for the table and despite us asking for it because she never wanted to mention it. She mentioned that it's a good chance that it will be long time until we can get bread because not much was coming out and all waiters are just grabbing it, she proceeded to comment that the only way she can grab us bread was by having to stand by the bread section and just wait, when she said this she paused for a moment and just stared at us almost as if she wanted us to say no it's okay don't do that. She eventually was able to bring out some fresh bread which I thank her for doing.
This is where things really took a turn for the worse. I picked up my first piece of bread and started to chew on it. As I'm chewing, I can feel something tickling my tongue and yes it WAS A LONG PIECE OF HAIR THAT WAS BAKED WITHIN THE BREAD. I am very patient person, so I pull out the random piece of unknown hair out of my mouth with calm and put it down on the plate in front of me. As soon as I do this, our waiter arrives back to grab our orders. I gave her my order and I respectfully say " hey just FYI, there was a piece of hair baked in the bread and I had to pull it out of my mouth", I then show her the hair. She completely understands and apologized and expressed her concern of how that was not okay and she would tell the manager.
Luckily the female/latina appearing manager was standing right by us. Our waiter proceeded to inform her of the issue. The manager came by and instead of comforting and truly apologizing for that traumatic/disgusting event, she decided to talk it and down and laugh. She said "sorry, I'll make sure they remember to wear their hair nets back there" in a jokingly manner and proceeded to walk away.
Not at any point did she decide to check back up on me to ask if everything is okay? ,was my dinner okay? Is there anything I grab or do for you to express our concern. Nothing, instead I observed her just avoiding to make eye contact and smiling all around. Mind you I was sitting at the edge of the table right by the front of the restaurant where everyone needed to walk multiple times, so there were PLENTY of opportunities to at least say one thing.
After this incident, we payed our bill and luckily the waiter was kind enough to give our guest a military discount when she asked.
I usually enjoy eating here weekly but this experience definitely just hurt mostly because of how poorly the staff handled it and hope the owner can help his staff understand...
Read moreLast night was my 1st (and last) time at this location. Sadly I won't be returning. I called on Monday to inform them I was showing up promptly at 6:45pm on Tuesday the 24th with a party of 12 (for my daughter's 18th bday) the girl took down my information and said it would be all set. I called again around 4pm Tuesday the 24th just to remind then we would be there at 6:45pm with a party of 12, she asked if we wanted to sit all together or split, I informed her it was My daughter's 18th and we wanted to be seated together and not at separate boths.. We arrived at 6:30pm and checked in, the last if outer party was there at 6:44pm. We went inside and told the 2 hostess girls that the entire party of 12 was there (we were standing inside, infront of them). She said she would let me know when our table was ready. It's now 7:15pm (30 mins after we checked in, still standing in front of them) no one has spoken to any of us about our table. Numerous parties came and were seated and also left. I asked how much longer, they said they were waiting on a table. It's now 7:30pm and still standing there. At 7:35pm the lady comes to me and says the table hasn't received their food so we can either wait ANOTHER 30min or we can sit at 2 back to back booths. We had already been there waiting for an hour so we opted to sit separate at the booths, 10 more minutes go by and we finally sit. This was unfair as we were there for a birthday and the birthday girl wasn't even able to see the rest if our party. However we started to order and the food was brought out fairly quickly BUT #1 the appearance of the food was as sloppy as can be (my dinner at home is plated better than that) but the main issue was my daughter's big expensive ribeye that she asked for medium to medium rare came out still moving, we sent it back to finish cooking and it came back 2 mins later. She cut the end side and it look ok but the as she moved on to the rest (cutting not eating) it was still rare as can be) the waitress said she would take it back but my daughter wasn't gonna do it again (she shouldn't have to send her food back twice) she attempted to eat what she could but it ended up being 2 bites. When the waitress came with our checks I proceeded to show her the not eaten steak and asked what can be done, she did ask her if she wantes another meal, but of course shes didn't want another meal it was time to go. So i asked for it to be removed HOWEVER NOTHING was removed and no discount was applied. No one even apologized for the raw meat. The only good part of the entire evening was the balloon man (which is why i even gave a 1 star) . So in the end no one from the party of 12 will...

It was so dry that it was not edible. The rice was puffy and starchy from being old. The ribs were bordering on dry but did have good flavor. The fries were old and over seasoned to the point where my mouth went numb. The salad was dry and wilted. The only thing that was good was the green beans. Overall, even more disappointed than before. The picture don't show how dry the salmon actually is.
UPDATE: I received a call from the manager and she was so incredibly nice. She said she would talk to the staff about what happened and should I have problems in the future, request to speak with her. She even gave me a coupon for a dinner for 2! This last time I went, the wait was shorter and the food was decent. I hope that they continue to improve since this is a go to place!
We have been doing curbside since they opened and the food was really good originally. Now, every time we pick up, no matter what time we order, the food is marginal at best. This last order, the potato was brown, the salad was limp, and the broccoli was so old, it was yellow and tasted terrible. The only reliable food is the chicken. We have had to had refunds on our meals three times so far. I'm not sure if indoor dining is any better, but the pick up is terrible. On a side note, the wait for pick up is ridiculous. They use to bring your food right out on time. Now, you are waiting at least 20 minutes to pick up your food, even when the restaurant is...
