I am really disappointed in Dr. Ross I thought he really cared about his patients, I had a Lotta respect for him. I was going to go in for a brow lift .. five months ago my house caught fire. Iāve damaged, my shoulder and my hips Iām looking at surgeries so Iāve had to change the appointment a couple times, the girl that works in Melbourne Iām sure she just got frustrated with me , because initially the few times she was very sweet of very helpful. I had already done my preop. I did everything I was ready to go just waiting to get the date for my shoulder surgery, and Courtney told me I wouldnāt be able to get the surgery till next year so I went into the Vieira office to talk to the ladies to see if they could speak with Dr. Ross , so they called and had me come in today and he said due to upsetting his employee Courtney he will not do the surgery on my brows. He canāt have his employees upset. This man has no heart and no empathy but he sure fooled me for the last few years . Iām just speechless about this I wouldāve never expected this out of Dr. Ross the caring and the compassion Iāve always thought he has for his patience. During my appointment, I mentioned that I was interested in trying colored contacts, and I was handed samples of one "blue" contact and one "green" contact rather than being informed about the different color options. I was under the impression that these were my only two choices, but I discovered after placing my order that there were several colors I would have preferred to see. This would not have been possible during my appointment, however, as the doctor was already behind schedule and had no extra time for me. In addition, after ordering my green contacts a month ago, I had to call the office about 10 different times over a time span of 2 weeks just to have my phone call answered once (yes, answered) to check the status of my order. When my call was finally answered (after the third try in the same day), I was told that my order was never placed and I'd have to wait an additional week. I live in a completely different state for school, so I expected my contacts to arrive much earlier than this. Doctor Hershberger's thoroughness and professionalism are impressive and saw me through what could have been a very difficult time. When I first met with Doctor Hershberger I had a potential for a macula hole in one eye. At the same time I was under the care of another doctor for non Hodgkins Lymphoma, just about to start chemo. Doctor Hershberger helped me through a stressful situation as I prioritized my options to deal with both medical issues. My macula hole eventually resolved itself and the other doctor started my chemo on time.
