Torino's Pizza & Italian restaurant — Restaurant in Florida

Absolutely love and have tried pizza all across Orlando, so thought we'd give TORINO'S PIZZA a try. Right off the bat, location is near to Oviedo and right off of the 417, so that's highly convenient. Prices are fair for the size in comparison to their pizza competitors around Oviedo/UCF. Woman on the phone was very nice and polite and took care of my order in a good manner. I rarely write, if any, lower than 5-star reviews unless absolutely necessary, here's why I gave it a low rating...

The most important aspect everyone looks for is TASTE AND FLAVOR. We ordered one small cheese pizza and a small calzone with chicken. The portions size for what you pay is great. The cheese from the pizza was hot and melted, crust was crunchy and the right thickness. Overall the pizza was good and tasted very fresh-to-order. However, the same could not be said for the small calzone we ordered. Though the crust on the calzone was pretty good, nice and golden brown and the size was big enough for two despite being a small, but the inside wasn't as great as the outside. All of that didn't bother us, but what did, was the raw chicken inside the calzone that we didn't realize until halfway through eating it (shown in attached photo). The chicken wasn't even "ok" cooked, it was only cooked on the outside and left pink on the inside, which can make someone really sick. It's very disappointing, disatisfying, and unappetizing to say the least. This first-time experience wasn't so great. I've never had an issue like this before. Overall, good pizza, good customer service, but be aware if you order more than just cheese to make sure things are fully cooked to prevent...

I don't know what happened but we come here every Christmas and this year our pizza was soupy and under cooked. Both pies! You couldn't even pick up the pizza after it cooled the sauce and cheese slid right off. We sent the pepp and mushroom pizza back and the cook complained loud enough for us to hear for several minutes. Told us the pizza was soggy and wet because of the mushrooms. I'm sorry, I order mushroom pizza everywhere I eat.. even here before and NEVER has is been a puddle of undercooked soggy water. It wasn't even taken off of the bill until I had to remind the waitress who didn't even come around once for drink refills that we didn't eat the pie. We were extremely disappointed and won't be...

I found this place after my regular pizza place was going to take 90 minutes to deliver on a Friday night. Torino's said it would be 45-60 minutes so I went ahead and placed my order. It was here in about 20 minutes! I figured that was just an anomaly. However, a week later (another Friday night) after being told it would be an hour for delivery, my order was here in about 35 minutes. Fast delivery is nice and all but if the food isn't good then it's not really worth it. However, the pizza from here is amazing! We also ordered a meatball sub that was fantastic. This will be our 'go to' for pizza/Italian delivery...
