Twistee Treat St. Pete — Restaurant in Florida

The employee that waited on us was extremely rude and obnoxious. She had an attitude when I asked questions about the products and was not helpful in explaining the way the items are served. It was my daughters birthday & she specifically wanted to try their ice cream and the woman was not accommodating. We asked for a banana split with 3 flavors which is indicated in the sign. She had an ignorant look on her face and rude tone when I said $5 a flavor does not matter. I thought being a customer we would be able to order what we wanted. When my daughter mentioned her birthday the woman ignored her & I am confused why she felt the need to be so short in her responses. When we couldn’t get the 3 flavors we ordered 3 medium to go and she served them without lids & spoons in them. When I asked for lids she said with a disrespectful tone you should have told me. In addition the ice cream flavors taste imitation. The red velvet had an after taste and I only took 2 bites & pitched it. The banana & pistachio were also disappointing. The cappuccino was the only flavor that was decent but definitely not worth almost $6. But then again according to the lady working the window none of it was since it wasn’t relevant...

My family and I came here for my husband’s birthday treat. His medium cone was very small, so I asked for them to top it with more ice cream to make it a large and we would pay the difference. The cashier said no problem, and then came back a minute later and said they couldn’t do it. We ended up just paying for a new large cone. Annoying, but not a huge deal. There was a bit of a wait between each of our four items to come out, and the last of our order was a German chocolate ice cream, and it was light green. When I mentioned the color, she just said, “I don’t know, it’s weird, but it is German chocolate.” Then I tasted it and it had a chemical taste, along with mocha or something, but definitely not chocolate. I asked her again if she was sure this was German chocolate since it’s green and tastes nothing like chocolate, and she said yes. This would have been the time for her to offer to replace it with something different, but she didn’t. She was young and may not be experienced in customer service, but the manager or owner in the back that was calling the shots should have stepped in. Very disappointing...

Avoid this place. I should have heeded my own warning after the first fiasco. I decided I wanted a Milk shake. Couldn't understand one word through the drive through speaker so I just drove around to the window abd ordered a large butterscotch milkshake. $5 a little pricey but if really good its worth it. After paying I waited....and waited....and waited. Finally the window opens and the guy says sorry about that and hands me my shake. I set it in my console and pull around the building to get out of the way. I grabbed my shake to take a taste and almost poured it all over me. It was nothing but watery milk. No consistency and no flavor. I pulled back through the drive thru and asked the guy about it. He told me that the milkshake machine isn't freezing it like it should. I tild him that would have been a good thing to tell me when I ordered it and I wouldn't have. I'm not paying $5 for a glass of milk. If you can't do any better than that just give me my money back. This isn't the first problem I've had there but it...
