Clawland 727 — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

Just spent $50 for 57 coins, average machine takes 2 coins and ended up with 5 plushies. They say they guarantee 1 plush per $10 spent. Last time we went we ended up with 20 plushies for $50. Lets me know they changed the settings on the machines. Probably not getting enough business so they're making it harder so they have a bigger money profit. Hot as heck in there like they're not paying for AC or trying to get people to purchase their drinks. Customer service was terrible, lady was rude from the start, we were literally her only customers of the day. She was just lounging like she was at home with no no shoes and watching TV with the music blaring and was shocked to see someone actually come in. Asked what flavors of boba they had, she just points with attitude and says it's right there! One of the machines weren't working after putting in two coins. She comes storming over after we told her what happened, put two coins and said see? It's working. Then a gatcha machine that requires 3 coins we put in and didn't get anything. Told her what happened and said how many did you put in? We can read and count what's needed. Just very unfriendly. Last time she was the nicest person. My guess is because we didn't tip. Why am I supposed to tip at an arcade? Literally nowhere else's does that. She literally didn't do anything. The machine that I put my card in to buy the $50 was asking for a $7.50 minimum tip. SO GOOD and VERY worth another visit !! My family and I (3 people) came and got 45 tokens and spent about 20 mins there, all parties had a great time (even if some of the claw machines are a little loose, thats just how claw machines are). All of the plushies are very very cute (even if they are a little knock off), all of them are still high quality. You can also get gotchapon prizes for a little more than trying your luck at the claw machines and every things is very cute !! (plushies, cute card packs, stickers, keychains and mini sanrio lego things) ALSO the thai boba i got was like the best ever, the boba was very squishy and yummy to drink while playing ^^ it comes in this bag and is actually really nicer than a cup). The owner was very nice and seeing that we didnt get many prizes gave us some freebies too !! It's okay the idea is great, I love clawcades and plushies !!! But I've been to many the prices are average here but the machines aren't great the claws are super loose, it's fun though and you are garunteed a prize for every ten you spend, I hate to even leave the review but for plushy lovers out there I have to, it's not terrible. It is fun, but go to atomic claw on treasure island about the same size no drinks but it's way more fun and wayyy better machines that rely on skill not luck there you'll leave with a bag of plushies instead of just 3 to 5 and they have great trade up !
