Waffle House — Restaurant in Florida

I have been to numerous waffle houses over the years and this Waffle House was hands down the best 1! It was full when we walked in so I was expecting a long wait. we were greeted at the door by a friendly staff member and she told us that they had 1 table open and pointed us in that direction. We were greeted by a friendly waitress as soon as we set down. There was 3 of us and the 1st person that ordered changed his order after the last 1 ordered. Our server was pricing our ticket as we ordered so she had to scribble stuff out and fix it but she wasn't ugly about it in any way and I sure appreciated that. They had 4 people cooking at 1 time. That place was full and we got our food surprisingly quick. It wasnt loud like I would expect. It was so organized and everyone seemed to work great together. The food was delecious. It's Friday, August 18th. Right now it's 1:56am. At about 1:20 I called this location for a Togo order as I've done on several occasions throughout the past 2 years ut for the first time I got a message saying they were too busy for Togo and I could only get an order if I came in. Fine whatever. The horrible things start when I get to an empty parking lot with two employees smoking in the parking. Again, whatever not that big a deal if the store was packed but there were three people inside. Two were eating and not wearing uniforms and the lady in uniform said "your waitress is outside. She'll be inside soon." We knew what we wanted, we had to wait for her to get done and on top of that my texas cheese steak melt was a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and my hashbrowns didn't have the onions I wanted. In town visiting family & a wedding. Stopped by since it was close to our hotel. Walked in, no one greeted us. Half the tables where dirty, along qith the lower bar where we wanted to sit since it was 5 of us. We asked a lady with dread s if she could clean the bar off & she says can't yall sit at a booth. Ih, excuse me?! No, we want to sit here. She cleans the bar off & sets our utensils & menus down. She walks off & takes over 10min to come back to take our drink orders. We asked to place our meal as well due to not knowing how long it would take for her to come back. Order gets in, she says she's going to grab our drinks. That took just as long as our food cooking.
