submitted a customer feedback submission based on my experience, "We came into store 1204 N Woodland Blvd, DeLand, FL 32720 With a digital giftcard from american express valued at $25. The giftcard was digital on our phone. Both employees had no idea how to ring up the giftcard, so they called another team member who didn't know how to either. This team member then proceeded to call the district manager who had us scan the gift card multiple times, had us log into our american epxress account to see the steps to tender the gift card, all totaling over 20mins, until the district manager told the employee that theres a problem with american express as to why they cant ring up the gift card, which is invalid since the giftcard has a barcode. We finally suggested we could do an online order to utilize the giftcard as payment since the register wasnt working. After 30mins, our suggestion worked, however it was a terrible customer experience as my husband couldnt eat until it was resolved. Further, they didnt give my husband his drink, so right as we were leaving i had to call "excuse me" to the back for someone to give me a cup, as no one was in the front and the gentlmean was busy at the drive thruough. Training for your staff to include your district manager, needs to be revisted, or simply dont partner with american express on a giftcard option if you dont intend to train your employees properly on how to utilize the gift card. manager, needs to be revisted, or simply dont partner with american express on a giftcard option if you dont intend to train your employees properly on how to utilize the gift card." The district manager, Whitney Smith then responded via email that I "stole" from subway and they have video evidence of this. Not only was Whitney wrong in her accusation but incredibly defensive, accusatory and did not in any way attempt to apologize for my negative experience or...
Read moreToday, I ordered a sub and went in at the time stated. The restaurant was not busy at all and there were two employees. One woman was making the sandwiches and as I stood there, the young guy greeted the only other customer in there waiting on their sandwich and completely ignored me, and then I had to speak up after several seconds when the woman looked up and I said I’m here to pick up my order for (my name), and she said, “okay.” She smiled but it was a condescending sneer. A few minutes go by and the guy asks me who I am here to pick up for and I said my name and then he asked me again a few seconds later and I said my name, and then he asked me, “order for Ashley?” which is the farthest thing from my name. A few seconds more went by before the guy said they didn’t get an order for my name and then the woman goes, “that’s what I thought when she said the name.” It was on the counter behind them and I stood there for SEVERAL minutes. It was not good customer service at all…to completely ignore me and not even give a greeting when there are two or them is very rude. I will be going to the Subway at the other end of town from this point forward and I advise anyone reading this review to...
Read moreMy experience has been up and down here. More often than not the food is made correctly and the employees are friendly and it’s clean but sometimes when ordering I have to remind the person how to make the sandwich. Like if it’s a subway series that gets double cheese I have to remind them. Or just recently when asking for a Subway Club (Turkey, ham and Roast beef) he was just making me and turkey with bacon. To which after I corrected him he asked and realized it was wrong and left all the turkey on it which was way more(not that I’m complaining about that part) than their should of Been, but also I don’t like bacon and the bacon flavor was still on the sandwich. But the big point was many people just don’t seem to know how to make something, even though I know there is literally a cheat sheet in front of their faces and a giant tv board above their heads. lol also the last time I went in the men’s bathroom had poop all over the seat and floor. And there was toilet...
