I won't trash the place in a petty way, I spotted the problem(s.) I won't put much emphasis on the fact that the receipt does not show special requests. I mean they didn't look at it so, what's the point now? I will applaud the manager and 1 young man who are both working their behinds off picking up slack of others. I know it is not easy dealing with customers that are hangry, cheap and lazy and wouldn't give a compliment if it would cure a disease. Not all of us are like that, I am chill most times. Basics are basics and here is where I will say don't even stop there. I know what I ordered and paid for, I was there too. I was mentally present too. So, if I pay for large drinks/fries to feed 22 year olds, I'm going to pause when you give me a toddlers size cup. I start to saywrobg size and boom, fix it. Like i dont want to even finish asking you why you gave me the wrong size with wrong amount of ice. Just fix it. I didn't expect any apologies and I was kind when I spoke, not being unreasonable. I haven't read the job handbook but I'd like to think as an employee, Wendy's isn't docking your pay because the wrong size cup was used for sweet tea. If they do, I'll apologize. Until then, don't try and tell me that is a large cup until I hold up a sippy cup ffs, and then wait for it, my favorite, tell me I'm wrong and didnt order when you didnt take my order?? Defeated with disappointment I wad letting it ride. Nope. Thankfully the manager who's head was on a swivel immediately apologized and said, sorry wr gave you wribg size, asked for it back and asked one of three space occuiants to do it again properly. Easy. Relief. Those are the standards I admire. I'd follow him any day. Phil Jackson triangle pep talk. At this point I know I'm clocked in for a shift with no pay because for 5 cups I will need a drink carrier, no offer, I have to be THAT customer being extra.. I have to ask for straws and spoons for drinks and frosties, and then told to have a good night Well, food was ordered too. I'll wait. Jesus help me. I get it. Manager literally said 7 + minutes, they are still waiting and not acceptable! YES COACH!!. Same! I'll be a team player and pickup the slack for you too. Fair enough. I only clocked a 16 hour work day, plus commuting and man that feeling when you get home and see half filled cold fries and $36.22 later, on a receipt I had to ask for too. I'm now on OT and a line cook putting everything in oven. As polar opposite of fast food definition in 3, 2, 1. Not good. Manager is trying, I could hear him, young man that rushed to front, shorter hair of the two, who offered help quickly, nice job. You have work ethic and you'll do great as an adult. I didn't realize I was interrupting someone's high or soda break. What you do on your time is your business. I had no idea that you pay $25 an hour to occupy space. Sorry to do this but save your time, money, patience and sanity and pass right by. There are 3 more in 5 mile radius. Line wasn't long because they are swamped. Its long because 20% of your staff work, the other 80% have no pride or desire to do any type of work. Nobody is better than the next person, your work is your work. Take pride in what you do, see the forrest through the trees. You are supposed to try to make things better and help your coworkers so everyone wins. Her is the Dj JJ Khaled remix, "When I pull up in the drive through, almost everyone's hands go up, and they say F that! 🎶 Do better would be my advice but, this calls for just be safe because your store is a walking premises liability case with some of these that are a danger to themselves. I wonder if the employee handbook has a section about "you had to go and get THAT high?
The next store is less than 3 miles away. Boot ranch gets the boot. For that price, I should of called an audible and hit up the five guys. My kids would've...
Read moreBrand new remodeling just completed a few weeks ago, very modern and clean inside.
I frequently get the pecan apple chicken salad (good) but decided to try the spicy chicken caesar today. I found a hair on the edge of it (gross) but it happens. I went inside to exchange it and this is where they really blew me away.
The woman who took my order recognized me and asked if everything was okay, I said that there was a hair on my salad and she immediately apologized and took it back, she had them make a fresh one on the fly not just grab another from the pre-made section, though I'm not sure I saw any pre-made salads anyway...
She then offered me a drink or frosty while I waited and I accepted the frosty offer. When she brought it to me a man followed and apologized about the salad as well (I'm assuming the manager on duty)
I received my new salad in about 2 minutes and was on my way.
I am writing this because I was very impressed by this experience, it is definitely the best service and attitude I have received from ANY fast food place in recent memory, maybe ever.
The re-modeling of this Wendy's seems to extend past the building to the staff in their attitude toward their customers. If any of them see this, take pride in knowing that your good attitude has a big positive effect on the way customers see your store and brand.
Keep it up! I will be back soon to try another salad, maybe that...
Read moreIf I could I would give it negative stars , we went on Monday and the line for drive-through always takes forever so that wasn’t the problem finally got up to the window and the guy taking our money and handing us the food is literally eating while handing us our food, it’s gross enough that none of them wear hairnets or gloves, but the fact that you were eating while talking to me so I can see the food in your mouth is absolutely gross second of all obviously inflation but you pay $7.99 for a pretzel burger is absolutely insane. It was $22. We got two burgers and a strawberry shake and four cheese sauces and the sauces obviously arent free they are $.50 per item doesn’t matter what the price value of some thing is it’s the fact that we all work hard for our money and you guys are there to do a job and the price is not cheap we get home and our cheese sauces , the lids don’t even look like they have been placed on . They are all over the wrappers of the burgers all over the bag. It was a complete mess. Finally get the cheese off the wrapping and I’m able to open my burger and what do I see someone’s hair on my burger , this is absolutely disgusting and I’ve already contacted corporate about this gross behavior of eating while serving others and not treating the food properly. The hair is a huge...
