Wendy's — Restaurant in Florida

I would recommend this Wendy's to everyone. The manager (Helen) was so sweet. I went inside to order right when they were switching over from breakfast to lunch. Helen let me get half breakfast and half lunch for my order. Most places won't do that. Their breakfast is amazing. You have to try their cheesy tots. Their a limited time item made to order, so they are always fresh, hot cheesy, and delicious. Their cheap too, my son and I love them. I dont know when they are taking them off menu again but I hope the make them a year round item. They keep the inside and outside very clean. They have handicap parking with ramps. They also have larger stalls in the women's restroom for the handicap. I don't know about the mens restrooms but I'm sure their the same. They don't have a playground for the kid's to play on, but they do have a few nice tables outside with umbrellas for shade if you don't want to sit inside. They have a key tag frosty promotion going on right now where you buy the key tag for $3 and you get a jr frosty free (1 per key tag) with every visit for all of 2024. The kids will love that, I get mine every visit. :) Overall I like this Wendy's. It's got a great atmosphere, the employees are very nice and good food. I highly recommend...

Worst experience I've had at this location. I placed my orders with no problem. I pulled up to the window and paid. I was immediately told to pull forward to wait for my food (I didn't order anything special) After about 5 minutes or longer my food comes out and is the wrong order. She takes it back in. Another 5 + minutes goes by and she brings my food out in what looked like a crumpled up bag out of the garbage. I check the food again. It's the wrong food AGAIN. (The girl is in tears when she brings the food the second time) I tell her I want a refund so I drive around the building back to the window. I am greeted by what I believe is the manager with her hat on backwards. In a hostile condescending tone she says "What's the problem, What did you order" I explain the situation and state that I just want a refund bc I have now spent my entire lunch break waiting for food that they couldn't get right. She then proceeds to verbally attack the cashier blaming her. Even if it is her fault the way the situation was dealt with was EXTREMELY Unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. Horrible service. Appalling, really. Two cars in the drive-thru and zero in the parking lot at 5pm. After waiting well over 7min at the speaker in the drive thru, and repeatedly being told "hang on", I ordered a kids cheeseburger meal, plain, just cheese and ketchup. Drove around and watched 1 person actually doing any work, and 3 others either standing there talking or just watching. They looked more like they were at a social gathering, then at work. Received the kids meal, and there was no ketchup. Sent it back, and then they overloaded it with ketchup, obviously on purpose. Daughter found a spider in her kids meal bag! I'm not sure if Wendy's has refused to give these employees their $15 an hour or what, but clearly they are not going to put in an honest effort until they receive it. Absolutely zero excuses for the lack of service and lack of pride in their job. I won't just complain, but I'll even offer to come in free of charge, and educate the entitled on what should be expected in the 'fast food' industry.
