Worst experience ever! My kids begged us to go get ice cream so we drove to the flower mound marble slab all the way from Denton! We got there at 840pm waited 40 mins to only be treated as we were a problem ordering ice cream. The girl taking our order literally rolled her eyes bc my daughter asked for cherries in her cotton candy ice cream.
Then we asked if they had more sweet cream she told us no they were out. So we began ordering a different flavor (coconut) only for the other girl to bring out sweet cream 🙄!! So I said, I would rather the sweet cream! She slammed the ice cream scoopers down! I said well we asked for sweet cream first, you are the one who said you were out. Her response to that was we were. 🤔 Um! Well clearly that’s not true bc there is an entire pan of it and that’s the flavor we would like! So she mixes the flavors together yuck 🤮! I spent $25 to just throw it in the trash. Do yourself a favor go down to Baskin Robbins a half mile down the road. The ice cream was much better!
Just because you haven’t had anyone say anything unkind about them doesn’t mean we are exaggerating anything. I walked in at 837 to be exact and my receipt says 916. By doing the math that’s exactly 40 mins again not exaggerated I wouldn’t waste my energy letting other patrons know how terrible my service was. Thank you taking the time to call me a liar and not even respond to the fact of how your employees made your customer feel. Perfect response for all your guest to see that you could careless about how we were made to feel. I have also been to your shop may of times and this is the second time I have been In with the ice cream gummy. Read moreService could have been better. First off, the lights were off. Went there after church. My wife asked me to pick up some marble slab up for her on my way home. I was with my nephew, stopped in, there was a family of four in front of us. The employee took care of them then told us she had to go in the back to take care of the ice cream before tending to us, I told her that was fine and to take her time. When she returned, my nephew ordered the raspberry sorbet, she took care of his order. Then my turn. I ordered vanilla with chocolate chip and almonds for my wife and asked for the blue tub (looks like it's about a quart, but I think it's a little less) nonetheless, I asked for a blue tub and she immediately told that I would have to call that order in and it would take at least three hours to pick it up. I'm thinking WHAT!! I didn't want to be rude, I didn't think my order was that over the top. I looked behind me and there was one man in line behind me and another lady walked in. I asked why 3 hours and did not get a straight answer until she finally said the ice cream was cold and hard to pack especially when other people are waiting on line then laughed. I conceded to the next size down, paid for the order then left. I have never been in Marble Slab and have to say that was a bit disappointing. My nephew said that he and his aunt been to the other store in Little Elm and that the experience there was completely different not to mention the people seemed friendlier. It was supposed to be cookie dough(4 small pieces in tbe ENTIRE cake) with vanilla cake(non existent) base and it had neither. Not a fun way to cut into your cake after blowing out your candles. We cut the entire cake looking for the cookie dough and cake layer(there was a tiny sliver of cake under about 2 pieces). $50 and a cake meant to feed 12 people, only 1 person ended up actually eating it.
