the food and drink are always great here, but what really stands out is the staff and management.
we placed a delivery order on our way home so our food would be delivered not long after settling in, but soon after arriving home we received a call from applebees inquiring about when we would be in the pick up our order. we were confused and informed them that we had actually ordered our food to be delivered. the woman on the phone was apologetic and mentioned that the door dash delivery person should be there soon to pick up our order. time passed, and soon it reached the time that we were supposed have our food delivered. i called applebees and they confirmed that door dash had still not arrived, so my fiance and i prepared ourselves to go pick up our order ourselves.
we were annoyed at that point, but not with applebees. they then called us before we could get into the car and stated that door dash had finally arrived and that our food was on the way. so we headed back inside and waited.
finally, another call. a worker from applebees offered us that they would remake our food since it had been waiting for awhile, and we would also be receiving a discount. i didn't expect the discount - after all, the fault wasn't on applebees. our food was finally delivered to us by an apologetic door dash delivery woman(apparently she had been experiencing issues with door dash as well, and ran back to her car to finish her deliveries).
our food was fresh and delicious - as it always is - and we went on with our night.
but then, yet another phone call - this time from a door dash employee. he fumbled on the phone attempting to get answers from me about the mishap, while subtly hinting that applebees was at fault. i didn't like the way the call ended, with me assuring him that applebees had done everything right, so i made a follow up call to applebess to speak to their manager and make sure that door dash wasn't harassing them. the manager knew exactly who i was and assured me that she had taken care of it, that she had refunded our entire order and expressed how sorry she was about the entire situation - including the strange phone call from door dash.
applebees did not have to issue a refund for our dinner, but they did. they took care of us from start to finish with class and care. i will always recommend applebees, but especially this location. we have ordered from here many times before, but this time was an exceptional experience because of all the issues that they took the time to fix.

Read moreOrdered a 12 Oz medium cooked sirloin steak, got a 6 Oz and well done, they came out moments later and told me they gave me the wrong dish. My mom tried to order the shrimp stirfry but she is allergic to mushrooms and asked for it without them. The server came back and told us the cook said her meal can't be made without mushrooms because the vegetables are all mixed together in bags. So then she orders the salmon, they then tell us the cook said the salmon is to frozen to be cooked at the moment (it was 6:00pm, are you f*ucking serious?). So then she finally ordered a shrimp salad and we all ate. The onky meal there wasnt an issue with was my wife's. Got the bill and the salmon meal was still on there, they kindly admitted and would fix the issue. After several minutes I asked the manager to bring me back the bill so I can pay. I paid on the spot, and then waited another several minutes to bring me my change back. The server had no idea the manager took the bill and apologized. The manager brought me the bill after she asked if there was anything else i needed and then gave me a 5 dollar discount on a 80 dollar bill. Great, thank you(sarcasm thought). The server was the only great thing about that place, the rest was a joke. Suprised this place got anything higher than a couple stars. Needless to say we will never return to...
Read moreWent here last night with party of 11 I called ahead to ask what time they close and if we can still be served the lady said yes and they close @1. We got there the hostess right away told us last call is @12:30, not even a "hello" I told her I called and asked when they close but wasn't told about a last call. She rolled her eyes at me and said "well it's @12:30 up to you if you want to stay or go somewhere else" then she walked away. Came back we told her we'll stay she said "fine but I have to see if we can put tables together" and walked away again. She came back and said we had to be separate which we didn't mind. What I did mind was that we felt so unwelcome by her and she get giving us attitude and rolling her eyes at me and my in-law which we didn't appreciate. We got seated and she kept saying kitchen closes @12:30. Our waiter was an older man who was very polite, friendly and welcoming. He was quick and we're out by 12:35. Some people in our group didn't order because the hostess was going to the back while eyeing us and felt uncomfortable and thought they might do something to our food. We have never felt so unwanted and uncomfortable while going out and all because of the hostess. She's suppose to be welcoming and friendly...
