As much as I love the food here, I don’t think it’s worth going to. I have only been twice, but decided to leave the second time because of feeling uncomfortable. I doordashed it once and had no issues. The first time I went, when I walked inside an hour before they closed, a girl mopping very visibly sighed and rolled her eyes at me and my boyfriend. When I told the girl making my food that I was vegetarian, she didn’t even offer me a vegan protein until her coworker popped up behind her and told me that there was vegan protein, he was a sweetheart. The second time tonight, when I pulled in, immediately the employees start looking out the window staring at me, but as I’m in my car getting ready to get out, this one girl keep coming up to the door every minute or so giving me stank looks and throwing her hands in the air I suppose out of frustration of me coming an hour before they close… I work in customer service in the food industry so I understand the aggravation that comes with it, but the way these employees treat customers shows me they don’t even respect themselves or the establishment they work at. The girl staring at me out the window made me feel extremely unwelcome so I left. I hope in the future management can’t teach these people some customer service so I can try and enjoy the food..
Also I think it’s important to add that in my first visit, 3 of the 4 drink pitchers with tea or lemonade had a black or green rim of gunk around the top. Like mold or something. That’s not something that builds up in a day or two, that takes many days of not being cleaned properly, which was very upsetting because I wanted to try one of their cool...
Read moreThis place turned into my new favorite restaurant fast. The food is delicious, healthy and doesn’t leave me feeling terrible after, but I was very disappointed in my experience this evening. I showed up to the restaurant a little over an hour before they close and received the worst reaction from the guy who was working there this evening. Before I could even get out of my car I watched as he glared at me, violently shook his head, and turned around to mess with his hair out of frustration. Clearly upset that I was coming to get something to eat. Not only did he do this, but continued to watch me with his angry face on as I got right back in my car and went to look for somewhere else to eat. I would understand his frustration if I had shown up 15 minutes before closing as I am a service industry worker myself, but to get there over an hour before closing time and receive that reaction really put a sour taste in my mouth. I’ll continue to be a regular customer as every other experience that I have had has been wonderful with the rest of the staff being so kind and courteous… but I just wanted to make this interaction known as it left me feeling disappointed and a little...
Read moreOn a Sunday afternoon around 2:30pm I walked into Cava, Forest Dr. Only one person ordering ahead of me and maybe 5 -6 customers dining inside. As the customer ahead of me moved down the line, another employee came to where I was standing, looked at me, raised her eyebrows and said “You know what you want?” Such a warm greeting! I finished giving my order, paid and went to find a table - which was not easy because almost every table was dirty. Again, there were only about 5-6 other customers dining in. The self serve drink machines needed attention too. I went up to the front and spoke to the same employee that waited on me. I told her the dining room needed attention-there were hardly any clean tables to sit around. Her answer “Oh really?” And that was it. I ate my meal, the restaurant never became busy, and no one came out from behind the counter to wipe, sweep, or clean anything in the dining area. I was so shocked by the way the restaurant looked that I went to the door to check their rating - which was “A”. Good thing they didn’t have an inspection today. I did enjoy my food but the lack of cleanliness and good customer service was seriously lacking. I doubt I...
