Iâm giving 5 stars solely for the foodâŚâŚ Also I havenât found there to be a long waitâŚ
Iâve been to this location a few times recently. I posted on my own personal facebook privately that the employees at our local Wendyâs in the drive through are not super friendly and they are very rush rush rush. They do not seem appreciative of their customers. Numerous of my friends commented sharing theyâve experienced the same at our local forest city Wendyâs.
I have worked in fast food previously, I know itâs super draining. If Wendyâs isnât the job for you please look elsewhere⌠but please please be nice to your customers and appreciative. The customers are what puts money in your pockets. Same for my job which isnât even fast food. We have to be appreciative of our clients. Please be nice to us. We just want a decent hot meal. Weâre all just trying to get to our next destination and eat our lunch/dinner/breakfast if applicable. Please be nice to us! Say thank you, say good morning, good afternoon, have a good day. Donât rush us, especially if our order is already placed.
Iâm as kind as I can be, I say please thank you have a great day. I get blank stares. I donât understand why the Wendyâs employees are so unfriendly and on top of being unfriendly they rush me.

I ordered ahead, get there, and after I let them know at the speaker, pull to the window, and they hand me my receipt and tell me, "we don't have any of the food you ordered"! Seriously. Out of all the food I ordered, and paid for, I got 3 cheeseburgers. Not any fries, not the 2 baked potatoes, not the chicken nuggets, not even the drinks, all of which I was charged for. All I got was 3 cheeseburgers. And as I was handed the receipt I was told, "here's your receipt, you might get a gift card or something"! I looked at the receipt, and it's a receipt showing me being charged for my whole order, as if nothing was missing, nothing was wrong... No wonder they said "I might get a gift card or something"!!! My order was $32, and all I got was 3 cheeseburgers!!! And of course I'm not going to get any gift card or my money back, BECAUSE ALL I HAVE IS A RECEIPT, A RECEIPT SHOWING THAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR EVERYTHING I ORDERED AND NOTHING SAYING THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY OF IT!! AND THEY KNEW, THEY KNEW AT THE SPEAKER, AND THEY KNEW WHEN I DROVE UP TO THE WINDOW, THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE FOOD!!! AND STILL CHARGED ME FOR IT! Go ahead Wendy's clap back at me...
   Read moreI went to Wendyâs on Tuesday 10/29 I went inside, I know not having a lot of employees makes it hard on the ones you do have but there is honestly no reason customers should have to wait 30 plus minutes in line. I had already waited over 30 minutes in line and the women in front of me had still NOT ordered mine you she was there before I even came in. The women running the register up front was helping everyone but the people in line on the inside. I watched her make two door dash orders while the line on the inside is just getting longer and longer. She was literally only taking one order at a time and taking 20 minutes on that one order. The whole 30 plus minutes I was inside she gave 1 couple their food(they had ordered before I came in) and she took one order and gave it out. I understand having to wait but I have NEVER had service this poor. No one in the whole restaurant was worried about the customers in line just the drive thru(including the women running the register up front she was making ice cream for drive thru). Do better Wendyâs!!!! Iâm not sure who the manger was or if there even was one because he/she was clearly not worried about...
