Wendy's — Restaurant in Forest Park

Upon arrival, I noticed the floor was a greasy slip hazard. The dine in condiment stand was empty, there was a stack of urinal cakes at the pickup counter and a snow shovel, bags of salt, and some other stuff, in the bathroom hall. There was a line of cars around the building and seemed to be only concerned with them. One of the rew had his phone shouldered to his ear and was completely oblivious to anyone. The manager shouted "we will be with you in minute", 5 minutes later a young man logged onto the register and just stared at us, as we were bothering him. After we ordered, their register would not a cent the digital coupon...so that was a thing. We paid the full price and moved on. There were no cups for drinks, so they had to get some. Shoulder phone guy fixed a chili for the drive thru and disappeared...no great loss. We finally got our order and there was no large fry, as I ordered (there was a medium). When I brought this to the manager's attention, she grabbed a large fry container and some fries in it...less than the medium I received (I figured between the 2, I got a large). Complete train wreck from start to finish. When I worked at Wendy's in the late 70s early 80s, we all would been fired this poor performance, short...

This was my first time in this Wendy’s location and it will be my last.. We waited for our food until a crew member asked if we got our food yet. The other employees had gone to the back of the restaurant and into an office that we could see from the counter. There were 2 bags of our food just sitting on the counter towards were the food gets dropped down . My son and I wasted a total of $28 on food that we threw away after we got home . We both tasted a fry and it was terrible,not cooked all the way through ,cold. We were the only ones there,when we walked in my first impression was it didn’t look clean so my fault we should have just left. The menu boards were not working and they had a small laminated menu on the counter. The floors felt slippery/greasy even in the ladies room. The computer that is facing their side of the counter ,you could see the back of it and there was caked on grease/dirt. My daughter in law is pregnant so we definitely didn’t want to chance her getting sick as well as my son,grandson,granddaughter and myself. We didn’t get receipts even though my son paid with his debit card and I paid cash. Avoid this location if you don’t want to...

This is potentially one of the worst Wendy's I've been to, which sucks because it's the one closest to my home. Serveral times I've been here and they've tried to rush me through the drive thru, while not giving me my entire order. It's to the point where I don't even pull away before I double check because I can almost guarantee they forgot something. The older lady (manager possibly?) is nice enough to customers, but seems short and often frustrated with the workers. I (attempted) to come through tonight; I pulled to the box and was greeted by "inside orders only". No hello, sorry, nada. When I asked why they were inside only, I was told it was because they were updating their system and it “was taking a long time“. It seems dumb to me that you would update your system during business hours, and not closer to the end of the night so that you don’t have issues taking customers orders.... I ended up going to another Wendy's that had my order ready before I was finished with this review. I'm not mad. I am disappointed. More than likely won't come to this location...
