Crooked Cup Coffee - Old Town — Restaurant in Fort Collins

Consistency has improved. Back to five stars! I love this place!!

Update: so unfortunately we have been having a little issue with consistency lately so i have dropped my review to 4 stars for the time being. Our bagels have had an excessive amount of cream cheese on them rather consistently and our drink ratios have been off almost everytime we have come lately and I have had to have them remade. Really a bummer because the consistency was one of the biggest perks to eating here! Looking forward to better consistency in the future i would love to be able to move back up to 5 stars because this is truly our favorite place to eat breakfast!!!

Love this place! One of my favorite breakfast spots. The staff is friendly, the food is amazing!! There is an occasional miscommunication, which mentioned in my previous review, but management addressed it prompty and they have adjusted accordingly. This shows me that they truly care about your experience being a good one which is what customer service is all about!!

The Crooked Cup offers a nice alternative to the other coffee shops in downtown Fort Collins, especially at peak times when you want a place to study and you know the other places are most likely going to be full. By far the best brownies in Foco are here (salted caramel with pretzel crust yum). I also like their pumpkin chai, bagel sandwiches and pumpkin muffins. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I hear a lot of customers talking about how good their local Cafe Richesse coffee is. I'm a vegetarian so I struggle with their food menu sometimes in comparison to other cafes/shops, but they're a relatively new place and the owner is really open to adapting and expanding their menu. He also did a great job at creatively designing this place and supporting local brands/trade. If you're cruising around downtown Fort Collins and looking for a caffeine fix, swing by the Crooked Cup. They're doing some great stuff with coffee and tea over there. Plus, they've got this drink, the Crooked Tree Hugger, which you really need to try.

And the food? Top notch. They do breakfast like champs - the burritos and kolaches are the real deal. It's hard to pick a favorite, honestly.

One of the best things about this spot is the people. They've got a knack for making you feel at home the second you step through the door.
