This was my first visit to a hot pot restaurant. The menu is simple, you decide if you want some beef or chicken, then go to a wall of open coolers to choose your vegetables, noodles, seafood and sauces. The food items were fresh and my beef broth was simple and light. Here is where my adventure went very south. I believe the ingredients I chose, based on my known allergies, were not isolated from the vast shellfish array. After arriving home my face and body puffed up and I had shortness of breath, and the next day I had hives popping up all over my face and neck. Here we are a week and a half later, I’ve been to my doctor who confirmed it is contact dermatitis. Sounds not life-threatening but I could not show my face at work, and it hurts a lot! My point is even a clean and friendly restaurant, such as this, can be a real hazard for those allergic to shellfish. Sorry I won’t be back but I do recommend this place!

Great location at the old Cajun spot. You order your rounds of meat. Can do a hot pot or koran bbq for 5$ more. You also have sides at the fridge and seafood like mussels, shrimp head on and off, crawfish, imitation crab meat, and more in the ice box in the middle. Sauces and more to mix and create fun. The kimchi with cucumbers was very good could not stop eating. Ramen noodles were good and the rice pho noodle was delicious and thick! Cooking at the table in my broth was fun and we enjoyed the time. We waited 45min for a table of 7.

Dare I say that we actually have a good Asian spot in Fort Collins? I’m not talking good just for FC, but one that’s just GOOD. The hot pot selection is great, with lots of different broths, unlimited meat and tons of sides. They even had the peeled quail eggs and the fresh enoki mushrooms. I tried the Tom Yum, beef, and spicy broths - spicy was the way to go. In terms of value, it’s not cheap but still lands on the lower end of what you would pay for an AYCE hot pot.

Man, what a wonderful addition to the Fort Collins dining experience.

I stopped in for Hot Pot and the selection was wonderful and very reasonably priced! The spicy broth had the nice Szechuan heat that I have been missing from other hot pot restaurants without being too overly topped with chili oil for spicy flavouring.

The selection of meats was great and they all came out in perfect sizes for rapid cooking in the broth. Even though the individual portion sizes were small for an ayce, the staff was attentive and made sure to continuously check if we wanted to order anything more.

The Selection of the vegetables was honestly stunning. The variety available alongside how fresh and clean each of the options were showed a high level of care that went into the prep work. They had several options that they labelled as BBQ if you wanted to do the Korean Barbeque instead so that you avoided getting too thick of vegetables that take forever to cook in the pot.

There was also a decent selection of seafood that was more impressive than most other hot pot restaurants I've been to.

The sauce bar: This, in my opinion, is what can make or break the hot pot experience. Luckily, the selection was varied for everyone in my party to be able to find unique flavors to enjoy alongside being very clean and tidy. One thing that really stood out to me was the individual squeeze bottles that help prevent spillage of some of the more runny sauce components (soy, sesame, oyster etc.).

Overall this is a great place to stop in and my only complaint was the music being a little loud, but as more people came in it was less noticeable.

As I mentioned above, this is an EXCELLENT addition to the Fort Collins dining options that I think...

Amazing Hot Pot & BBQ Experience!

Hot Hot Spot in Fort Collins is an absolute gem for anyone who loves hot pot and barbecue! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

The all-you-can-eat menu is fantastic, offering a great selection of fresh meats, seafood, and vegetables. The broth options were rich and flavorful, and the grill added an extra level of fun to the dining experience. Everything was high-quality, from the thinly sliced meats to the wide variety of dipping sauces.

The atmosphere was lively and perfect for groups, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Considering the quality and the amount of food you get, the price is very reasonable.

If you’re in Fort Collins and craving an interactive, delicious meal, Hot Hot Spot is a must-visit. Can’t wait...
