SO GOOD! I ordered an Apple Pie without the egg wash ahead of time for pick up and it’s just what I needed. Cinnamon and all in the filling. Also got a Garlic Sourdough love and there’s whole pieces of roasted garlic. This will go perfect with potato soup I’m making this weekend. Thanks Christie and The Bread Chic team!

OMG! Phenomenal sourdough, cinnamon rolls, and other delectable treats. These guys have been serving bread throughout the community for years at the farmer's market. I was SO impressed having German roots as to how authentic the sourdough is. Cannot rave enough. Go check them out! (PS...Ask about Lucy)

This is the hands down best bakery I've ever experienced. Delicious everything. Sandwiches, sourdough, éclairs... You can't go wrong. Have you ever tried a caramel cruffin? You won't regret it. Run to The Bread Chic before they sell out.

If the bread looks familiar to you, it should! Locally owned, the Bread Chic (its pronounced chick not sheik according to the Chef/Owner) has been at the local farmers markets for years. They now occupy a storefront in the heart of Old Town just north of Luckys Market. I love sourdough bread and Bread Chic Has the best in town offering five or six great choices. Another very popular item is the cinnamon swirl loaf….it’s really nice and great to eat when it’s still a little warm from their oven. Just try not to eat the entire loaf on your ride home. Although not a full service bakery they have many other baked goods to choose from including their amazing cinnamon rolls (free cholesterol tests after 10 purchases) and a large variety of pies. I love pie! Support this locally owned business and stay for a cup of coffee in their quaint seating section - it’s quite...

Dined in just after open. Tldr great bread and pastry. Checkout staff could use more knowledge.

Raisin croissant was flakey and had plenty of raisins to not be too much or too little. I got a quiche and ate it there but it was cold after being reheated which the staff did so again and it was warmer. Though it was a good quiche I recommend not buying to eat it there but wait until you can control the reheating temperature. The staff checking me out did not know what coffee they had and said it was Happy Lucky's which is a tea house. Whatever coffee they did have was a good one. Apparently it was also market day so their selection was less on the pastries per conversation the staff told another guest that was looking...

I checked out this place for the first time today. Really impressed with the quality of their products and how knowledgeable the staff were. I got a really nice baguette and rosemary sourdough loaf, along with some cookies. It went great with some tomatoes from our garden.

By the way, I wasn't expecting this but their Oatmeal raisin cookies might be the best I've ever had. Definitely worth a try!

This place seems like a real gem. And I think it's important for us (the community) to support the restaurants that do a good job. This place is one of them, i hope this place stays a part of our community for...
