QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Fort Collins

We love Qdoba, so our experience here was incredibly disappointing. We had a very busy day, and got to the hotel late Sunday night. We're tired and hungry so we order delivery from here, about half an hour before closing. I'm writing this review late because we were busy and just wanted to enjoy our vacation.

My quesadilla and the queso dip was standard deliciousness, altho the guac was a bit old. But my partner got a burrito bowl that was so lackluster. It was only barely more than half full, and the steak was overcooked (or, like the rest, had sat there all day at the bottom of the tray until it got gross).

But worse than that, and honestly unacceptable, was the chips. Those had clearly sat at the bottom of the tray all day, continuously getting fresh chips piled on top. Some were fine, crisp, like they should be. But around half were so old that they were almost rubbery. No crunch whatsoever, disgustingly stale. I couldn't eat them.

Last of all, I thought well at least I have a delicious brownie to make up for it. Alas. I have never tasted such a terrible brownie. I. LOVE. Brownies. I'm sure part of it was also that it was stale, but that surely couldn't be the only reason? It tasted like cardboard. I took one bite and had absolutely no desire to take another. My partner agreed. It wasn't even just "not that great." It was gross. A gross brownie, I don't even know how that's possible. Sorry, I'm very passionate about brownies lol.

I'll grant that perhaps this place is great during the day, but next time i visit, I will definitely not go here later at night when all the food has...

Though the food was good and the restaurant was clean, we got screwed over this time. Apparently, QDOBA is doing a competition to give extra meat. The lady making my MINI BURRITO BOWL asked, "Would you like to help us win a competition and get extra chicken?" "SURE!" I said, thinking I was helping her to "win." They charged me $2 extra for a few more pieces of chicken (I only had a mini bowl, after all). Are you kidding me. Though I usually like coming here, I won't again. Don't phrase things to trick people into buying anyway. It's okay that you charge, but be honest! TELL ME IT'S EXTRA....

The food is horrendous, but that’s across the board at all stores (thanks chef Katie, not!). BRING THE SOUP BACK FOR CRYING OUT LOUD no one wants hot and cold corn like please it makes no sense 😭. I don’t eat at Qdoba but if the menu didn’t change every other week it would be easier to have a “favorite” dish. I’ll eat here again when Jessica gets a raise, too. I know the DM sees this so take what you will sir. Your employees would be happier too if your systems made sense within the stores but truly they don’t.
