Jeez, today my kid said just try 1 more time. I gave in. 2 hrs Freakin later @ $45 is ridiculous! SAME HUGE LET DOWN! Called for an ETA kid on phone says well, were super busy so it'll get there. Didnt ask who we were, when we ordered nothing to identify us to give us a ETA.... This order was Placed in the afternoon through Grubhub. Grub hub ended up cancelling the order as 2hrs is a way to long for cold sandwich @ $45 charge. NEVER AGAIN. The night staff is lazy, rude, inconsiderate and lack basic phone etiquette and customer service skills. When someone pays for a meal and chooses delivery it's illegal to take tender and refuse to fulfill the order. When I called to check where our order was (over an hour 1/2 later) the guy who answered the phone was unable to answer the question. I asked for the manager, she hung up on me twice after refusing to fulfill the order they took payment for and pretended to not be able to look up the order number. She said I'm only the night manager what do you expect me to do? Here's a thought, manage to get the orders out on time and prepare them accurately, manage your job and that of the staff. In the background I could hear staff talking about how many shots they'd taken that evening. Is that why the delivery was not done? Drinking on the job? That Mason street store is a HOT MESS yet the hot subs are frikken cold! The day staff is fine, the male manager dealt with the issue of the night before and guess what, he found the order just fine. He tried to make it right but ya know what, I'm not giving any more money to your establishment. Owner, do something about this. They represent your establishment and what a shameful representation it is. You lost us for good. Calculate this, We Ordered 2-3 times a week for YEARS over $40 each time. The ridiculous result is always failure--ranging from partial to epic. They frequently take upwards 1 1/2 to 2 hours to deliver, though there is no mention of this when you order. If called, they invariably explain that they only have one driver tonight and offer some explanation as to why this is unusual. I do not believe them, there is always only one driver. The other issue is...the food. Though I believe good sandwiches may come from this store, they go to the wrong addresses. Some may like bbq chicken and pepperoncini, but probably not delivered in place of what they actually ordered. Management does not offer satisfactory appeasement. Read moreY’all, I got a delivery from here, I tipped and all so Idk if someone was having a bad day? but, let me walk you through how weird this is. I went out to grab my delivery and there was a large hole in the bag. I was like “oh no they took/ate my sandwich” then I looked over, and my sandwich was in the grass in my front yard with a bite taken out of it. It was so bizarre.
Edit: I spoke with the restaurant and they’re pretty adamant it was an animal. I’m sorry, as you can see in those pictures, those are human teeth marks, two taken out of the sandwich consecutively. What animal would only take two bites and also tear a perfect hole in the bag? Also, why was my bag still nicely sitting on my porch?
