This isn't the worst taco Bell location but it's right there with some of the worst I've been to. Fortunately the person taking orders (not the same person I'm going to be talking about later) normally is a delight otherwise this location would get one star, less if it were possible.
Orders take forever! We're talking in the neighborhood of a half an hour forever. I even placed a mobile order because I was in a little bit of a hurry since they claim you get your food much quicker if you order mobile and just pick it up. I selected drive-through pick-up but when I arrived there was a line of probably six or seven cars in the Drive-Thru. I decided instead to go inside to pick up my order and upon walking in was greeted by somebody who clearly didn't care about the customer. When I told them my name and that I was there to pick up a mobile order I was met with a sarcastic laugh. He then snidely informed me that they had about a 27 minute wait for food. I was a bit surprised but since I placed my order over 10 minutes ago via the mobile order option I assumed I would be getting my order relatively soon. much to my surprise however I watched as the car I would have been behind in the Drive-Thru got their food and left along with the seven other cars that I counted after that car before I receive my food. In fact it wasn't until the drive-thru was completely caught up that they even bother to start making my order. This included all of the cars that I saw show up after I had informed them I was there to pick up my order.
From the time I walked into the door until the time I had food was well over a half hour. This is completely unacceptable for any restaurant let alone one that claims to be fast food. The icing on the cake is the fact that after every car was through the drive-thru I heard one of them curse as he realized they hadn't even gotten to my mobile order yet. People were actually taking a break before anyone had even begun my mobile order that I placed about 45 minutes earlier.
Does anyone here even understand what a mobile order is? It should take priority over everything since corporate policy is to put them first. Otherwise, what's the point of a customer even using it if they can get their food much quicker ordering in the lobby or the drive-thru? The whole idea is to train customers to place their own order and the reward is that they get it quicker than those using an hourly paid employee to do the same thing. not only will I not use the mobile order option again but I likely won't ever visit this taco Bell either. As bad as most locations have been lately it's likely that I'm not going to be frequenting any Taco Bell very often anymore. For whatever reason Taco Bell is dropped off the face of the Earth for customer service which is sad because they have some of the best food in fast food right now. The level of service however is unacceptable and I'm not going to wait 45 minutes for "fast" food even if it is better tasting than the competition next door.
It should be noted that the entire time I was waiting for food there was three employees standing in the back talking that weren't even preparing food or taking orders. I have no idea what their job was but I doubt it was more important than getting orders caught up if they knowingly had a half an hour weight during lunch time. Whatever they were doing could have waited until the rush tie-down unless somebody's life was an immediate threat which it...
Read moreNever going back here again. We used to go here all the time, literally every week; frequent customers. We typically make mobile orders for in-store pickup, and then eat inside.
Tonight, my girlfriend spent $20 on an order for herself and our friend. We realized she accidentally placed a mobile order for drive-thru-- no big deal, we thought, we'll just apologize and ask if we can receive our order in-store at the counter. After being ignored for a good 5 minutes (not an uncommon occurrence at this TB, but we're capable of being patient), an employee approaches my gf/our friend, says he'll get that order done-- we sit down in a booth.
We wait 20 minutes; in that time, I finish eating my own food, and I am periodically checking for my gf's order. Nothing. Instead of waiting another 5 minutes for an employee to address us, we decide to just go through the drive-thru. At the speaker, I ask for the order, and the employee I'm speaking with says he can't find any order under my gf's name. We double check that the order is for the right location-- yup, it is. We drive up to the window, show the employee the order; he says they've completed the order, and it was already picked up. We're, obviously, very confused.
The manager comes up to the window, has a look at the order, says she remembers making it and it was picked up. Alright, I guess someone stole it and they can't remake it-- that sucks, but that's life. That would've been fine if that were the end of it, but then she accuses us of STEALING DOORDASH ORDERS. Not just one, "orders", PLURAL. The only order we ever picked up was the mobile order I PUT IN FOR MYSELF ON MY PHONE. We were sitting in that booth, unmoving, for nearly 20 minutes! Check the damn cameras!
Needless to say, I'm not going back to an establishment that steals our money, then accuses me and my loved ones of being thieves. Scummy as hell, totally...
Read moreTaco Bell is one of my families favorite late night stops for dinner. The condition of their bathrooms, the customer service, and atmosphere we're sub par. Fort Collins is a bustling city which one would expect to have high quality food service restaurants. It is never a good sign when the sign is not on. I expected better service from a restaurant in this location.
The bathroom: when the toilet flushed there is a worry-some hammering in the wall. There was no soap in the dispenser. The trashcan for feminine hygiene products was on the floor. The toilet paper dispenser was practically on the floor. There was toilet paper strewn across the floor. Disgusting.
The Customer Service/quality of food: The first step to customer service is friendliness, which the employees here seemed to be lacking . When our food was done they yelled the name multiple times not giving us an opportunity to retrieve our food. My crunch wrap was sloppily put together. They failed to give us one of our burritos. On a positive note the food tasted good. They were polite while correcting the order.
The atmosphere: it is understandable that employees working in the food or retail service industry might want to enjoy themselves while they are working late evenings, but there should be consideration for customers. While we were eating our food "Kill Yourself part three" by the $uicideboy$ began to play .While I listen to this music it is unacceptable to play when anyone can come into the restaurant. They continued playing this band the entirety of our meal.
I am sure that this location has had better days and it has the potential to be a great establishment. tonight this particular location did...
