Updating my review from a 5 star down to a 1 after receiving some of the worst customer service from any of the Casey's in Fort Dodge. Had placed an order on 6/15/25 at 1:55am for 2 Pepperoni Pizza's which I never received. Called the store after 1.5 hours of waiting to inquire and got an employee who was completely dismissive... kept making various excuses, some I've heard before, such as: Them relying on the 3rd party Doordash for delivery or that Doordash would be responsible for any refunds. (which isn't true from past experiences of getting refunded... if the order was places through the Casey's site, and the payment was on THEIR merchant app, then THEY are the ones receiving the payment, not Doordash).. its like they just say that to avoid initial responsibility. As the lady kept being dismissive over the phone I asked for the managers name (which I got), then asked her for her name in order to rely our conversation with the manager (and if I have to rely everything again with the corporate customer service).... she only asked why, then made another excuse before just hanging up on me. No wonder that person works graveyard...
2nd Update: Left home 10min after posting my first update (3:45am) and walked 1.5 mile within 22 minutes (both ways) to visit the store after being hung up upon in order to get the name of the person I had been on the phone with. Had 2 workers working up front and 1 working the back. Explained the situation with the 2 up front and asked for the name of who I talked to on the phone... 1 just stated: "I just got here" while stocking shelves & the other just remained silent while standing turned away... Told them that I was going to assume that it was the one in the back (senior citizen lady with white hair) then who only looked out front 1 time then hide from view in the kitchen for the remainder. The entire time neither up front was hardly engaging; Just passive & dismissive. Before leaving I told them I would be calling the manager named "Sue" and had already filed a complaint with the corporate website on getting a refund & the poor customer service. The manager can verify my visit on cam between 4:05am-4:10am on 6/15/25. Big guy wearing a purple shirt & black Hawkeye hat.    Read moreWorst Casey's I've ever been to. For starters the sign off HWY 20 for gas is a hoax. You have to go another 5 miles to get there. Then I get to Casey's and the pump is not working properly. I enter the store to over 8 people standing in line. A worker is standing at the end of the line chatting with customers while the poor lady at the counter is busting her hump. I ask the lady are the pumps prepay only? She rudely replies "well, yeah they have been for 2 years" as she rolls her eyes at me. I stated that I am not from here and that is why I ask. I then pay the kinder lady at the counter for my gas. I then go to pump my gas and was shorted 83 cents gas as the pump stopped and would not go to my paid dollar amount. I had no patience to return to the store to complain. I asked the clerk, I believe her name was Cassie, if I could leave myg car there until I was able to get it towed. She called her manager and they said yes, but it had to be out by monday morning. The next day, i arranged a tow, and when Cassie saw the tow truck pull up, she hurried outside to say the car was ok there, but then she saw me and was so relieved tgat my car wasn't being towed without my knowledge. Thanks Cassie for being a great person and looking out forva complete stranger!! On my way out of town I stopped to say thanks but she wasn't working. I told the only manager there, the kitchen manager, to pass on to the manager that Cassie deserves...
