Like New Appliances — Local services in Fort Dodge

Stacey and I were wanting to buy a new refrigerator, and always drive by Steve's house coming to and from ft dodge ,seeing cool appliances in open garage for sale. We actually had looked at refrigerators at Menards, Harp, Sears, etc through the previous 3 months not sure which one was right for us. The other day we had not yet ever stopped at Steve's to look. We had heard their prices were high, but after stopping in and seeing for ourselves, that to not be true at all!!! The prices were amazing for the product offered. Well worth a tiny dent or scratch hardly noticeable. We found an LG refrigerator there we had never seen before. We bought it and on 1 hr notice, Steve and his Wife cheerfully agreed to deliver it to our home in Eagle Grove that very afternoon. The care, the way we were treated was the very best of any retail store in the United States. Kind active help, gave us the trust of a check for payment due to debit card limitations for cash. Helped put appliance into our home, I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND GIVING STEVE YOUR BUSINESS. YOU WILL FIND FOR YOURSELVES WHAT IM SPEAKING ABOUT! BETTER THAN ANY RETAIL STORE AND THEIR EMPLOYEES. I went with my daughter to purchase a washing machine. We went to Like New Appliances first, then onto other stores to check out the appliances. We went back to Steve's and made our purchase. And are very happy we did. Professional all the way! Great price! Great products! And GREAT people to work with. Will be back again! SEVERAL MONTHS LATER, I add to this review Yes, it was a great price, great product and great talker.......BUT.... when the machine broke down within several months, we went back to Steve's to tell him about it, and he wanted nothing to do with it. When we bought it he claimed we were covered and would even come out or bring it back in to be fixed. HE lied. Said there was nothing they could do for us. So that was around $450 blown. I am wondering how many others were scammed because of his dishonesty about these "good looking" product that don't always hold up and then are left holding the bag? Shame on him! It always pays...

My wife and I were looking for a washing machine to replace one that started to fail. We looked at a number of locations in the Fort Dodge and Des Moines areas from big retailers to smaller shops. We found Steve and his wife to be the most helpful in listening and working with us to find just the right replacement washing machine for us. We delivered the failing machine to Steve and picked up a new washing machine to take home. I installed the new washing machine and then went online to to register the warranty with the manufacturer.
