Casa Tequilas — Restaurant in Fort Gratiot Charter Township

Was so excited to dine here with some friends. Got on the wait list 50 mins wait and was told they will call. Went in 50 mins later without any call and our names were gone from the list (party of 4). I asked the host why our name was not in the list, to no response, I was ok with it as she was letting people who just came in have their tables. I then asked why we dont have a table after a 50 min wait and was told to wait 5 more mins. I was ok with that still. But more and more people got their tables and I asked again and was told that they are 2 seater people and IF I WANNA SIT ON SOMEONE'S LAP SO WE CAN ALL FIT IN THE TABLE, and I was repeatedly told that I was being a rude person when all I did was nicely ask her about our table. Lucky she didnt have her name tag on. I understand that they just opened but it just wasnt right the way she responded. I wish this place goodluck and more success but unfortunately, personally, wont be coming back anymore, nor recommend due to bad host mannerism. Went here with my girlfriend, and reading some of these reviews it’s people writing them out of frustration, yes the place is brand new and the servers are still learning where tables and sections are because the place is NEW. The service will improve over time, the food was well worth the wait, truly the best mexican I have had in a very long time, very authentic true Mexican food. This place will thrive just give it time. We will be going back 10/10 very cheap prices too hard to find a place where you can get all the food and leave paying $40...

It is a new place. They have a few kinks to work out. We never got our Gucamole dip because they brought out our main dishes. I asked for a little more salsa to put on the fajitas and was told that it was extra charge for the salsa. They give you basket full of chips and one small bowl of salsa. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant where I was being charged extra for salsa. I understand cheese dip, guacamole, bean dip and etc, but never salsa.
