NEVER AGAIN!!! Seemed nice enough though basic. Then we got the food. $57.47 For a chix ceasar, 1 ruben, 1 chicken sandwich, and order of mushrooms. My wife and I expressed that we couldn't really explain why, but everything including the salad had a really bad burnt after taste it was really not good. The watress was a larger woman with glasses and an elbow tattoo, who clearly seeing that we had only ate maybe a third of our food, still had the audacity to say well no one else has been complaining so... and just stares at me. So I said... WELL... just doing the right thing here and letting you know.... she says oh sorry and walks away. I paid her exactly $57 and 47 cents and left. As if that was not enough!!!!! Then we get down the road back toward Lexington and both of our stomachs are going crazy. Instantly both running for bathrooms at the house!!! Not angry... life happens... and it's to short... BUT.... Don't just walk.... Run!!!! away from this place. Worst experience in 10 years easily. Come to think of it.... I seem to remember never going here because of all the bad reviews it used to have. But now it has 900+ reviews at a 4.5 rating? Clearly are bought and paid for reviews. Oh well Live and learn. P.s. Wife says.... And the watress who had about 4 tables out of the whole place that had people in them. Never came to check on us one time. Just drinks, food (barly eaten) , our complaint, and full check to pay. P.s.s btw.... my wife has in the past been a GM at major and smaller restaurants. And I know she would have fired her...
Read moreI was there yesterday and wanted to sleep on this before posting. Let me start with the staff is very friendly and the food is great. I was however so concerned. When I walked in, there was (1) another customer (no face mask), and not one employee had a face mask on (even that they are required at this time). After I walked in and placed my to-go order, (2) more customers walked in (not wearing a mask), one leaned on the glass where food was being prepared and started talking with the cook, again not wearing a mask and the cook did not ask him to put a mask on or step back. If this is what I saw in violation of health code, what was I not seeing? This business owner may not believe COVID is a real threat, but it is no excuse to not take the REQUIRED steps. Restaurants want us to come back and sit down and eat next week. I was spending over $1K a month at restaurants before COVID 19 because of the number of hours my wife and I work and have things going on in our life. When things open back up, I know I will be watching what restaurants are doing and not doing to keep customers say and it will be part of my decision where I will be going in the coming weeks and months. It is not my desire to hurt this family business but hope that they make changes and post how they have made...
Read moreWent there May 6th, 2018 to take my fiancé and his little sister out for lunch. As we sat down and ordered then got our food. Just as we about to be finished. The credit card machine wasn’t working they blamed the weather, then rudely told people that didn’t have cash they need to walk to Kroger to get some. In today’s world not many people carry cash anymore. So as we sat there wondering what we should do my fiancé runs to the bank. The manger never went around and said sorry for the inconvenience, instead the waitress was running around smiling saying sorry. They should of said who was already sit down and eating before the credit card machine broke the food is on us. But because we didn’t even get an apology and the laugh in our face. WE WON’T BE BACK.... If we were to know that the credit card machine was broke we wouldn’t have ate there. Not to mention our waitress didn’t do that great of a job asked for a refill and had to wait until I was basically done with my lunch before I seen it. After asking four...
