I just wanted to write to you and let you and let you know how displeased I am. I was born and raised in Rockland Massachusetts for 45 years.I worked in Quincy Massachusetts at Quirk ford on Southern Artery right across the street from the very first Dunkin’ for many years. Dunkin was a way of life for me. I was very impressed when the mobile app came out and have used it regularly. That has all changed as of today. I moved to Florida last Jan and have been going to multiple Dunkin’ Donuts here in Florida. I have noticed since I’ve been here that they are not run quite the same as back in mass and some are particularly bad. The main reason for this email complaint is the branch at 4840 N. Federal Highway in Ft. Lauderdale. I have been using this location for about a month and have had awful service every time. I use mobile app and according to your marketing campaign you can order ahead to skip the line and save time. I tried this there and when I pulled in front of the long drive through line to pick up my preordered skip the line order I was told that I still had to pull up to speaker and say I was there. Maybe I’m confused but how does waiting behind the 8 cars ahead of me to pull up to speaker and say I was here skipping the line. On top of that they made me pull ahead to help all the new customers behind me while they had to start making my order and then brought it out to me. Ok so I modified my approach and instead of selecting drive through I started to select walk in so I could just walk in and pick up pre-ordered food and coffee and go off to work. When I get to counter they asked me what I would like and I told them picking up mobile order and they went to printer and pulled ticket off and started order. I was upset that they hadn’t even started yet but I didn’t say anything and just figured I’d order earlier next time. Next time I did indeed order even earlier but again save thing happened. This time I was upset as they had already made me late for work last time and now I was going to be late again. So I told the young lady at the counter i was upset and she said sorry they were busy. Ok I understand your busy, but my time is valuable as well. I asked her how early I should order ahead to ensure Order is ready for me to go and she just ignored me. Thinking she didn’t hear me I asked again louder. She definitely heard me that time but still chose to just ignore me like I wasn’t even there. They gave me my order and I walked out angry thinking I’d never order there again. The next week I ordered from Brooklyn Water Bagel down the street on their mobile app and everyday order was ready and waiting as it should be 😊. Today thinking that maybe I’d give your store another chance I ordered again. This time much earlier. When I got there and got to counter again same thing hasn’t even started my order. They gave me my coffee and then walked away from me as I’d order was complete, but they hadn’t given me my donuts or wraps. When I spoke up to a employee passing by to tell them they had to find out what I ordered and not wanting to have to wait even longer told them to forget it and just give me a refund. They argued with me telling me they couldn’t because I ordered online. So already having paid for my stuff I wasn’t going to go without it and had to wait even longer while they made the order which was wrong so now walked even longer. I was again late for work by b 10 minutes this time which my boss was not happy about. So I will no longer be visiting this location and will have to seriously think about using any Dunkin’ locations again after this. I would love A chance to talk with a Manager and provide my feedback so that you can improve yourselves to what I can remember Dunkin being as a kid in Massachusetts. Thank you Daniel l. Read moreThis dunkin location is not that good. Food is mediocre at best and is usually stale/cold, coffee tastes weird sometimes, and the customer service really is lacking. I read other reviews about the flies and it is true. Every time I go in there I see it. I have seen the backdoor propped open on multiple occasions so that is not surprising. I've also seen equipment left outside the backdoor unattended (usually the doughnut racks). Once I saw one out back and it was being swarmed by birds I guess eating all the crumbs. I was standing at the counter once and watched an employee pour half a cup of regular coffee for my order which was decaf, looked up, noticed that I saw it, switched to the decaf and then served it to me. Didn't bother to say anything or offer to replace it. All and all this has to be one of the worst dunkin locations I have been to and will not be returning. I'm done wasting money throwing food away. I don't like writing negative reviews but this location has let me down so many times and really is...
Read moreAs a southern New England native, Dunkin is a big deal to me, especially their iced coffee. Outside of the Northeast, they have a tendency to be a bit conservative while using coffee beans, but make up for it with a generous portion of ice. They were also very generous with the 'dash' of oatmilk I requested (nearly white) Thanks to all of the ice the chef added, I was able to finish my 'ice with a bit of coffee' in no time. I believe they do this because with the paper straws they give out, they can only ever handle a few sips before breaking down. The next level of this strategy is that since you finish your coffee so fast, you will leave before you need to use the restroom, so there will be less traffic in the restroom so they don't have to clean it as often or buy as much tracing toilet paper rolls. It's an interesting two layered tactic that fufills both DEI and cuts costs in this crazy economy, so that's why I didn't give it one star, but it still...
