Edelweiss European Bakery & Cafe is truly a gem! Their bread is simply out of this world — always fresh, perfectly baked, and full of authentic European flavor. The coffee is equally incredible, rich, and comforting, the perfect companion to their baked goods. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a charm that makes every visit feel special. Suzanne and the rest of the staff are the kindest people you'll ever meet. They already know the bread I like, the Kaisser Bread. They go above and beyond to ensure you feel welcome and cared for. Whether I visit alone or with friends, they're always so friendly and accommodating - it's clear they genuinely care about their customers. If Google allowed it, l'd give them 100 stars! AUTHENTIC GERMAN CAFE– DELI –BAKERY … Stopping by their charming place, I purposely did not take any money in with me. However, after seeing all their scrumptious, made on premises, desserts, I gave in, and tried their cherry tart, with crumbles on top. I don't know if it was the delicious tart cherries, or the crumbles, or the crust that impressed me most. Also took home a hard crusted, sourdough bread; the favorable crispy crust seemed to make the bread taste even better. They also have a deli section for take out, with many authentic German dishes which I can't wait to go back and try. Open for breakfast and lunch only. What looked especially tempting: Bavarian meatloaf, Brats, and of course authentic Schnitzel. I looked on line at their reviews and there were so many with 4 or 5 stars. Can’t wait...

Edelweiss is a cozy, little bakery with seating indoors and outdoors. They had dated pop music playing for ambiance. We went at 12:30 and they were already sold out of a lot of their baked goods. We bought a tube of mustard, a few baked pretzels, authentic European chocolate Kinder eggs and a slice of cake.

They sell baked goods, a very limited selection of European nonperishables, some German beers, sausage and baloney, and coffee. They had clean restrooms. The pretzels were not that great but my wife liked the cake. There were plenty of patrons so the food must generally be good.

The parking situation is a bit of a nightmare. There is a lot of coin metered spots and one row of non-metered...
