I really love the venue and it’s very conveniently located. Drinks are good, food consistently good, prices are reasonable…. My only frustration is the service. I’ve been a good 6x now since I first discovered so feel I have a fair review on this.
The employees are polite enough, however don’t have urgency at all helping clients. Not sure if they just don’t schedule properly, but it seems they’re short staffed every time I’ve visited. Subsequently employees struggle to keep up with their rushes
On that note, employees often avoid clients during rushes, “putting the blinders on” avoiding eye contact and going behind the sliding door only leaving one person manning the register and preparing the orders. To be clear, nobody is ever rude nor do they compromise the quality of their food/drinks, they just take such a long time since it’s often only one person ringing and preparing orders for a line of people. Almost every time I visited, I sit on my laptop and see patrons getting annoyed/complaining under their breath why their orders take unnecessarily long
I don’t blame the employees as they’re just trying to get by the day, but if this dynamic could be improved, this coffee place would far surpass many others in the area because their stuff is actually...
Read moreCoffee roaster in the middle of a very cool area. Dogs allowed so this was cute. Inside had plenty of open seating. Locals and pick-up orders were coming in consistently. We joined the line and ordered for 6 of us, and the girl at the front taking our order was very standoffish. She was not kind from the start. It was almost as if our existence bothered her 🤣 So that was a weird beginning experience. Service needs improvement.
Menu is cute and literally the food in a display case. Fun to see. Major coffee line in the back, open for viewing also. We loved this experience.
Food wise, everything on the menu has cheese, and nothing could be modified. We ordered almost 8-10 items. I had higher expectations for the taste of the coffee and breakfast items, however everything was pretty mediocre. Pricing is super high. Many other bakeries/coffee spots better in taste and customer service. I rate this place average, and I rarely do. The dogs were cute though!!

Read moreI came across this coffee shop on a whim. I was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem next to the train tracks. It has a very open concept with large windows on one side looking out onto the train tracks. The windows bring a nice amount of natural light into the space along with the industrial lighting. The overall feel is hip and crisp. There is bar stool seating along the windows and other various sized tables in the center. They offer non dairy milk (almond, vanilla soy, macadamia nut, and oat) for us lactose intolerant patrons. B/c we just had a large breakfast, my boyfriend and I shared a latte with vanilla soymilk. The coffee came in a large handle less mug; large enough for us to share. The coffee was delicious and not bitter at all. The price was about $5.30 for a latte with soymilk, which is pretty pricey, BUT understandable considering they are a small business and need enough to pay for overhead, etc. I do not mind paying a little extra for smaller local businesses that put out good products and services. I will definitely like to come back and try some of there other coffees when I'm near the area. P.s. they are...
