Baggios — Restaurant in Fort Lee

I am adding to my initial review because I decided to call for pizza take out. I ordered the most expensive pizza that they have.$26 grandma pizza- full of garlic and motz; however clearly the crust was frozen as the crust was peeling apart from the bottom! I can't believe you'd serve frozen crust with your most expensive pie. I know we have a small Italian population here in Ft Lee,, but I am Italian and know my food / my pizza really well! I think it is absolutely shameful that you freeze your crust and then pull it out of your freezer 1/2/3 or more months later! I only hope I don't get sick from this. I ate 2 slices and have a stomach ache now so threw the rest in the bin. I tried to be fair and give you another chance and this is what I got in return... 1st time shame on you but 2nd time shame on me.

Not a great dining experience.Had the WORST "special salad"; 1/2 a spoon of cheese (supposed to be goat but crumbled and goat is soft) cup of old spinach, 6 walnut pieces and avacado. Cost to make this is $3 but they charged $14 and presentation was garbage. AWFUL! Pasta was fair.Spent $40 plus tip- $50 - waitress was good.But better places to dine at. I left them such a great review on Grubhub because I just ordered from them yesterday, I loved my experience and food so much that I ordered the same exact item today. My order arrived and wasn’t the same as yesterday, the delivery man was so sweet and amazing but the food was disgusting. The eggplant tasted old and left a sour after taste. I took two bites and immediately called the restaurant to tell them about the experience. I was offered to have the item replaced (no apology about the order I already placed that was rancid) I don’t eat meat so I requested a penne ala vodka , I was then told that I had to pay another $10 and wait 35 minutes for the order to arrive. I explained that this wasn’t my fault and I just ordered yesterday so why wouldn’t you just replace the item no charge. Then Male on the phone was very dismissive and solely cared about collecting the extra $10 before making their mistake right. I live in fort lee four years, I would never ever order from baggios again! I understand that things happen so that wasn’t even my concern as far as the order…. The one star is not for the food, because the food is pretty good here. The one star is for the fact that they are not a reliable or trustworthy establishment.

I ordered from them through Grubhub, and it was estimated to arrive in an hour. That was ok. We waited for an hour and a half, but no food has arrived, so I decided to give them a call. I asked them about my order, gave them my address and everything, and they told me that it just left. I was satisfied with that, but another 30 minute has passed by and still no food.

The next time I called, they started giving me some story that there was a mistake with grubhub and that they JUST received my order! Even though they confirmed my address with an order half an hour ago. I tried talking with them, but all they gave me was:

"We'll make it or you can cancel. Nothing we can do"

That showed me that this place will not be truthful to hide their own faults and do not really care about their customers. I can take long wait times or inconsistent food quality, as long as its good more than half the time. However, this restaurant will be 1 of 3 restaurants I will never visit ever again.
