I used to love this place. I have been here many times with my boyfriend. We were even here when the place just opened. We ordered the same steak as usual. I asked for the soybean soup (Doenjang ) that has come with the order every single time I’ve been here before. For some reason, the waitress told us that the soup doesn’t come with our unless you order two orders. It was a surprise for us because they never told us this before. Must be a new policy. We ended up ordering another order of the beef because we thought that maybe they changed portions and one wouldn’t be enough. After that, the manager lady came to my table and asked me if I need anything else. I said maybe some more bbq sauce. The manager actually started laughing at me and telling me that the sauce I have is enough! She didn’t acknowledge that we added another order of steak. Even if it had been, what was the point for asking me if I needed anything else if she was going to answer in such a rude way? She made me feel very awkward and I completely lost my appetite. I believe the poor costumer service from the person in charge was disappointing. She should be more careful with her attitude.
If she wanted to charge me for another BBQ that would have been fine too, but I still can’t understand why she was laughing so much. There was nothing funny. The food is good, however not so good costumer service anymore. Which is strange because the reason why I frequented this restaurant so often was because of the customer service. There used to be a male manager who was great. What...
Read moreI went here for lunch today and I have to say that my experience here was wonderful. They have such a great menu and wide selection of bbq and regular Korean food. I like that none of their food is over power with unnecessary or the same flavor. The food has flavor just right to highlight the ingredients. I ordered the KBBQ meats and let me tell you the quality is totally there. Their beef brisket, pork jowl and pork belly were so yummy. Their sauces for dipping was really good. Love their homemade warm soybean paste. Goes so well with the pork. Their marinated shrimp was delicious. I'm going to get the clams next time. The interior is modern and classy. Best thing is their ventilation is great. I don't smell like KBBQ right afterwards. Their ban chan is very good and good selection. The steamed egg is fluffy and corn cheese yum. The service and staff is fantastic! I love the "imo" that cooked the raw meats for us. Super friendly and nice. The cooked food was placed on a plate so that we can share and eat it. We'll be going there again soon! They have alcohol there also, that's a plus. Owner is very...
