I am trying to be fair. I am giving three stars because I love the food in this location. I deduct two stars (and the reason for my review) was for the fact that the late night lady manager here is super unfriendly, never smile, sullen and moody.
I always try to minimize my interaction with her. I was still very polite although I always feel crappy after dealing with her. I don’t stay late. If the lobby closes at 12am I will try to leave early or before 12pm is up. I cleaned up after myself. I always show my gratitude to the wonderful staff there. But this lady manager has a chip on her shoulder.
Tonight was the final straw. I like to get some drinks before I leave (it was around 12am) and the freestyle machine was being washed and I could not get drink. The lady that is cleaning the floor told me to get it from the counter of the drive through. I walked up to the counter, and the lady manager was walking by with clearly unpleasant look on her face. Perhaps I should have not attempted this, but I asked in broken English/Spanish “Why so serioso” with a smile on my face. She got annoyed and barked at me in Hispanic something about her being cansada! Okay I got, I gave her my cup to get refill but it was clear that she was not happy with me, and we are having communication breakdown as she does not understand my English (and for the fact that there are large Asian community that frequent that Wendy's - I think that it is really important to lingua franca - notably common language for the sake of understanding each other) . She asked me what I want and I said anything is fine, well okay maybe some Fanta or if you don’t have Fanta some Limonada (Minute Maid – fountain). Then she barked at me with statement like the limonada have no free refills – and I said that I am not asking for the premium lemonade I am asking for the fountain lemonade. It was very unpleasant and I am starting to get annoyed. I said – okay fine, Diet Coke. She look at my large cup that still have some Fanta in it – and rudely throw my cup into the garbage bin saying that I cannot have limonada as it is not free refills, now what do I want? Dude - THAT IS MY CUP THAT SHE JUST THREW INTO THE GARBAGE. I really feel violated but I wave my hand in resignation and just say “don’t worry about it” and left. And on my way out – I told one of the associates that I always like that store except for the manager. Tonight I had it. I walked out just feeling so frustrated. What is her problem??? This is not the first time. Its everytime. It is always a service without a smile. Maybe she wants to get rid of me as a customer – fine, she achieved her objective! Congratulations! I am not planning on going back. I hope she is happy....

We tried placing a mobile order and the app wasn't working- it was loading, but pay button wouldn't load up no matter how many time we reloaded the app or after waiting for about 10 minutes. So we headed in, tried telling the cashier, we were the only dine in customer then, so we thought we'd ask if they can honor the mobile coupon we were trying to redeem on the phone.
The cashier (looked like a student), he tried his best to work with us but when he confirmed that the mobile order wasn't working he asked the manager and tried to honor the mobile coupon which the manager told him "Mobile only. Make them order through the app" which he replied repeatedly, "But that's the whole reason why they asking us to honor it- their app isn't working"
Poor guy. The manager told him to go home for trying to provide a good customer service.
We also found a curly hair (definitely not from a head) on the table we sat which made us move our seats and wonder when they clean the tables. Honest mistakes, I still thought. I was loyal to this store. But when my wife called them to let them know that I left my jacket behind when we walked out, and they made her repeat "My husband left his jacket in the dining area. A black jacket." exactly 8 times to only have them hung up on her, that's when they lost my loyalty to them.
I admit. We weren't the easiest customers tonight. But we really tried being as polite as possible and got so much of what feels like disrespect for our efforts.

Read moreI made a mobile order for carry out (inside the store) instead of drive thru since they are always very busy. As I get to the front door I already see a lady trying to get inside they had messed up her order and refused to help her so they locked her out. A Spanish employee comes up to the door with a attitude and we state we are picking up a mobile order for carry out she slams the door and locks it ( mind you this is 3 in the afternoon not night time and there were people inside eating that we’re trying to get out but she kept locking the door) and states go thru drive thru. So there again we wait in a pretty long drive thru line for a mobile order that was sitting there getting cold when she could’ve passed it over or at least explain why we couldn’t go inside. We get to the drive thru and the same Spanish women hands over a order ( not ours ) so we wait for her to give us the correct order and comes to the window with an attitude on why we haven’t moved … we stated she gave us the wrong order and weren’t leaving cause we can’t even go inside to fix the order as other customers were trying to do. She proceeds to give us our COLD order with no straws or bbq sauce again we ask her for some and she insisted they were in the bag when they WERENT !! Horrible experience never again. If you can avoid here please save yourself...
