Wave Runners - Beachfront Tiki Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Fort Myers Beach

I loved the setting on the beach and what we ordered was good. We ordered the nachos and boneless wings. Food was a solid 4... service was 2.5. I understand its a beach restaurant and to keep the aesthetic the servers are laid back, but my waiter never wrote my order down so i knew it would be trouble. so he forgot our drinks,when i reminded him about the drinks he asked me to remind him what it was. 🤔. Then he brought me a drink without my floater. He gave us NO napkins, NO utensils, and NEVER checked on our table. When i asked him was there a floater in my drink (as requested when i gace my order) he said -“no, and i didnt charge you for it”, and because he forgot he thought I’d be okay because “he didn’t charge me for it”NOT THE POINT.... I ASKED FOR A FLOATER ... i want my food correct, hot, and great service... i dont care about how cool you think you look trying to memorize my order. Still left a tip although he did NOT...

Honestly the food is overpriced and not great, Jamie who was taking my order ignored me standing there while talking to a coworker for about 5 minutes and then finally took my order and didn’t get it right, I asked for mild and I got hot, and I didn’t get ranch when I asked for that as well, and then to top it off she doesn’t give me my change back when it was almost a dollars worth of change. If you guys are STEALING all of the change customers are supposed to get back you must be making a killing on your already overpriced food. I would’ve tipped but that just ticked me off to no extent it’s not your money to keep, they get payed by the hour and feel the need to steal because they think people can’t hold it or they’re to drunk to notice it isn’t right either way, I work for my money and they should as well not just take it because they’re too lazy to give it back or whatever...

The food was excellent. We both ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and the tender, juicy chicken was coated with a hot sauce of our choice. We chose medium, the second lowest heat (they move progressively hotter up to the choice of "death") that complimented the ingredients perfectly. The only "complaint" would be the blue cheese dip/dressing wasn't very good. I would substitute a bottle of Ken's blue cheese dressing over that. The fries were delicious and not greasy at all. My rum and coke was perfectly made. The sand and high bench tables made the atmosphere perfect! Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and beyond efficient. She is a keeper. We stayed to enjoy the reggae tunes until the selection...
