Grace's Café at the Lani Kai — Restaurant in Fort Myers Beach

I checked into the Lani Kai hotel. At the reception they told me that I could have breakfast in their restaurant of the same name, I would order from the menu, it sounded great. I came to the restaurant the next morning, there was a sign, wait until you are seated, well, I stood for 8-10 minutes for sure, so that at all someone would pay attention to me. The waiter passed by me probably 4 times with zero emotion, after 10 minutes of waiting, a girl came up to me and asked: - Will you be alone? I answered yes, and she said one second, well, okay, I will wait further. 3-4 minutes pass and another girl comes up to me and asks are you alone? I say yes and she also answers me one second and wanted to go until I answered her that maybe that's enough? I stand there for more than ten minutes, three people are walking around, two of them only talk for one second, the third is completely ignored. I can understand if they were suddenly busy, but there were people sitting in the restaurant, literally 3-4 tables out of 20, this is not a full load at all. As far as I understand, there is no such host at all. Well, like it says wait until you are seated, but no one sits you down and everyone says one second, I freaked out and just left, after a short conversation one of the waitresses just waved her hand at me. Do you think this kind of service is considered normal? I did not go here for a 5-star hotel, I just wanted to have breakfast. I do not ask for service like in Turkey in hotels or like in Russia. But near my house there is a very old snack bar where a couple of waiters have been working for many, many years, and the service there is even better. This was almost comical. It was so bad with service. Our party of eight walked in and was spoken to, but then ignored. Another party walked in five minutes after us, and they took them and seated them right away and left us standing there for another five minutes. Then we waited at the table for quite a while, but the obviously they were spread then with staff. So instead of ordering from the server, I went to the café to order iced coffee. The lady and I engaged in conversation and her weekend plans and then she proceeded to Put scoops of ice in a cup, turned around, set the cup down on the counter got distracted with serving food and waiting on tables and never came back. I stood there for 5 or 6 minutes, not knowing what to do and couldn’t help myself to the coffee lol so I left and came back about 10 minutes later and she didn’t even recognize me and didn’t realize that she never gave me my iced coffee. I said can I get an iced coffee, oh sure and then she grabbed the cup that was full of ice sitting on the counter and realized it was...

Went for breakfast at Grace's. Terrible service . We sat outside. Waitress (Gennea) never came out to give us menus i had to go in to get them. 20 min later no service still. Went back in and asked for someone to take our order. Finally we got served but she never came back out to check on us after we got our meals. No refills on coffee or anything. Waited for bill , also had to go back in to ask to pay the bill. A couple next to us had coffee and never came back to take the order from their menu either. They just pd for coffee and left.
