I cannot pass by an Auntie Anne's pretzels in a mall without getting a pretzel with their cheese sauce and a lemonade since I was in high school over 30 years ago. However, I definitely will be passing by every one of them now. I could tell just by looking at this pretzel that is was once frozen and not homemade like I remembered them making them years ago right in their stores. And when I took that first bite, my intuition was correct, it was not good at all. Not homemade in store. The cheese sauce was not in their typical logoed containers either. These were cheese sauces that they poured into just clear plastic containers so who knows where they got that sauce from. It was deplorable. It wasn't Auntie Anne's cheese. That I'm certain of. And the lemonade, yuck. Not remotely sweet. Hardly had a hint of lemon taste. We as customers get sub par customer service and frozen, processed food so that a business can save money and cut costa for them but what about us? We as customers pay through the nose for everything we buy these days. How is that fair to us or even square up? Highway robbery!...

He gave me the option of waiting for the sugar pretzel that my daughter wanted but they weren't ready. I think that was a nice touch but he forgot offer me some drinks. I moved to the to wait for the sugared pretzel to make it easier for him to take care of next customer. I let the girl helping him that I'll be waiting right there. She was rude and acted like i was bothering her. He gave the sugar pretzel to the next customer even knowing I was there waiting for it. When I told her I'm still waiting for mine she rolled her eyes and gave me the next one. She shouldn't be working there. I'm sure the guy can do a better job without her there or with a different girl. I don't know if you can see in the photo clearly the girl cause she hided behinds the display when saw me...
Read moreI love Auntie Anne’s! I will tolerate the pain and inflammation from gluten just to eat the cinammon and almond pretzels. This place has been here for a long time at Edison mall. It moved around in the mall but I am glad we still have Auntie Anne’s in Fort Myers. Please support our local malls and Auntie Anne’s. I went to the Gainesville mall last month and searched for Auntie Anne’s but they only had a knock off pretzel place and it did not look clean so I did not bother to order. I don’t ever want that to happen in our malls here. Auntie Anne’s has the best lemonade and even ordered the buckets with pepperoni pizza and hotdog over Doordash and UberEats. They deliver even all the way to East Lehigh. It’s such a far drive to Edison mall or Miromar Outlets from Lehigh but I am so glad I can stop by the mall or get delivery from...
