I don't know what is going with this store in Fort Oglethorpe, but the last 3 times we have eaten there it's been some sort of problem. The first time they didn't even have roast beef, because someone forgot to put some out to thaw, or something, and waited 30 minutes for food. The manager did give the meal for free and several others. Second time, we order the Greek gyros that we love, and the pita bread they put it on was hard as a brick, and we couldn't even chew it. This last time that I just got back from we ordered the Greek gyros again, and I told them THREE TIMES NO ONIONS, because my roommate is allergic to them, and I hate onions. Well guess what?, I get them home and they have onions on them, and hardly any taziki sauce. This restaurant didn't use to be this bad, and I don't know what's going on with the staff, because there is someone different there everytime we go. My advice would be to maybe pay more and get people that know, and care about what they are doing. We won't be going back to this store, but to one a little further away to get better service . Then maybe your teenagers , and slackers you have working there will have more time to goof off. They should like that. I love Arbys food, but whom ever is running the show over there is seriously...
Read moreCan I complain about the Arby's in Ft. Oglethorpe please? I was just chumped off by an employee because she got mad at me when my order was wrong. I never once disrespected her, but after she started mouthing my order to me as if I was stupid, she turned around and flipped me off! I went in and asked for a manager. (I'm not one of those people that gripes at the managers, I mean extremely rare) But this girl... So the "manager" comes up and I told her what happened. She has this condescending smile on her face and tells me she can't do anything about it. Of course this is a franchise, so I doubt anything will come of it if I called them. The thing is customer service doesn't exist anymore. I hate to admit it that it made me cry because I was already having a bad day and I just wanted to get my autistic son something to eat. But I ended up not getting anything except treated like garbage just because she can get away with it. Has anyone else noticed how far downhill it's gone in the...
Read moreAs a brand I very much like Arby’s. They have tasty sandwiches and you can’t beat a jamocha thick shake. Although after two visits to this particular location I have found that it is a great place to practice the ‘twist.’ Which is a caution because the floor is so greasy on two different occasions that it was hard not to twist when walking from the door to the counter the counter to the dining room. (The cleanliness standards seem to be comparable to the other restaurants in the immediate area.) The service was slow in the kitchen and at the counter on both occasions. It appeared that must have a lot of staff turnover and need more training for their employees, but this is an assumption. they typically seem to be busy so they must meet neighborhood standards and expectations. As a brand I’ll be back to Arby’s but as for this location I’ll wait for them to call me with a...
