Subway — Restaurant in Fort Oglethorpe

Over the years I've been to several Subway restaurants around the country and after going to this one three times over the course of about a year I can safely say it is hands-down the absolute worst I've ever been to In my life. Like I said, three times in about year span and yet somehow every time I go in there somehow manages to be some person or group of people hanging out by the counter talking to the employees about their baby daddies, who just got busted for meth or who's sleeping with who now. It's a trashy place for trashy people and they spend more time talking than doing their actual jobs. I stood in line behind two people for about 10 minutes today while this went on and when I got closer to the counter I noticed the one guy that was actually working making the sandwiches was hacking and kept wiping his nose, he clearly had a cold or something and couldn't contain it. At that point I just turned around and walked out, bad service, unpleasant low-class atmosphere and nasty people make for a place that I will never go to again. Stopped by the layfette rd store and we came in about 3 pm Saturday Jan 4 2025 and the young black woman came from the back washing dishes and was very unprofessional. My mom is always friendly and so am I “she ask the lady how r u? Your worker paused for a few seconds like we bothered her she finally goes I’m ok. You could tell by her actions we were a bother for her for stoping by for service when the store was completely empty. She stood three didn't even smile or ask how may I help u? She just had a blank boring look on her face if you hate your job quit go somewhere else! This generation is just plain out lazy! She finally spoke again after we ask about using a 3 sub coupon which she said “Chickamauga takes the coupon we don’t”. Don’t do a mobile order at this location. You will be given a pick up time, even be notified in the app that your meal is ready, but get there to realize they haven’t even started making your food. It’s a huge waste of time to be notified the food is ready when it isn’t just so they can maintain performance metrics. People plan these pick ups on their very time limited lunch breaks, and you spend over half an hour in the store only to be ignored and have no time left to eat the food you paid for.
