6/09/2022: The food was absolutely amazing here today and the staff was professional, and attentive... unlike the staff that I encountered a little over a year ago. Keep up the good work!

Today's corn and fish 5/10/21 Brown corn. I called and spoke to Sarah. The corn was put in this morning. She didn't notice it was brown she made the plate.She would be happy to replace the corn.. .so I can drive all the way back there to get a piece of corn? Not.. now I know why the parking lot was empty at dinner time.
2020 Got two 3-piece fish dinners and was denied free cups of the tartar sauce that is not pre-packaged. They're not allowed to give the tartar sauce out unless you get a family meal. I had to purchase two cups of tartar sauce to go with the fish that I purchased. ($2.15) ..What if I dined in? Could I squirt the sauce into little cups for free or Do I have to pay for it?? How ridiculous!!! I won't be back!
I used to frequent this restaurant several years ago. Then, the prices went up, while the portion sizes went down. Still, every now and then, I had to get me some of that fish. The other day, I stopped for some. The service was great, friendly, smiling, face. My fries and slaw were fine, but the fish was so bad. The breading was so thick! It looked like a big piece of fish (like in the old days), but when I went to eat it, it was mostly breading, more like bread. Captain D's fish is supposed to be crispy on the outside. I peeled away the bread from the fish and tried to eat it, but it was awful. Additionally, when I tried to find a clean table, all of them were dirty with crumbs and such. Seats, too. I had to brush crumbs from the cleanest I saw. I was one of 3 tables being used, and it was not busy. The windows were dirty, the restroom was out of paper towels. The dining room looked dingy with chipped and peeling paint. The floors were dirty. Finally, an employee did come and wipe some tables, but not chairs and booth seats. She did ask how I was doing, and I showed her my fish. She offered to replace it. I let her replace one piece, but my appetite was gone. I ended up bringing it home and fed it to the cats. Read moreThe Manager on Day shift the one that has different color hair and nose piercings . She is RUDE her EMPLOYEES yelling at them as soon as they walk in the door with customers in line . The poor man on the drive thru was having a hard time understanding the computer” needs more training “ the Manager told him that it wasn’t that hard to understand at all . Apparently From a managers perspective this is UNCALLED FOR . Not only this but the manager is yelling at employees in the back and the whole restaurant can hear her. Instead of stepping up and help get orders out she disappears to the back . After waiting 30 mins to get my food the lady comes and tells me that they don’t have enough fish to fill the orders . So if the MANAGER would have been doing her job in the first place then she could have told me this from the start.
I was returning after a back experience last night when my husband came and ordered 2 kids chicken meals 4 piece spicy fish and 2 stuff crabs. That was 50.00 some how . When we got home we got someone else order. The night manager said they were really busy apparently not No cars in the parking lot and employees standing outside smoking weed…. Had to drive 10 miles to get our stuff . Returning home only to eat cold food.
