O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Fort Oglethorpe

Went there tonight it was not busy. Got seated right away, but then it took a good little bit for the waitress to come and take our drink order and then it took a while for her to bring the drinks to us, tea. When I tasted it, I said this isn’t sweet tea And she said oh yes ma’am it is. I said well it’s not your usual sweet tea. She said well maybe they just didn’t make it sweet enough. You can add Sweetener. So I decided on what I wanted, and when she went to take the order which they’ve changed the menus the one thing that I wanted, they did not have the country steak. And it had taken so long we had asked her twice about giving her the order and she would say just a minute. So I quickly decided on something else chicken Parmesan, and we waited, and waited. Finally, we got our food and my sister did say her steak was good but the asparagus was not cooked correctly at all. And my chicken Parm the chicken was hot but the pasta underneath was just barely warm. But I didn’t say anything so then we noticed that there was a problem at some of the other tables. And people were getting up and leaving and one of the waitresses was crying. Apparently the computer was down and they couldn’t print out any tickets and they couldn’t take credit cards. So unless you had cash, they’re only solution was to take your card number and write it down with the information off of it, and when the computers came up, they would run it.. didn’t have any cash, but thank goodness my sister did. So the girl goes off to add up the ticket and comes back and mine was correct. $17 and something and my sisters. was double what it should’ve been. Her ticket said $39 and we’re like no no no no no so the girl had to take it back somewhere to a table where they were trying to figure this out. And they re-added it and came back with $17. So we paid in cash and left, but the service was terrible, the food was not good and then the whole mess about the credit cards. You know they could have comped the sweet tea or offered us a dessert, free of charge . But they didn’t. So tonight we decided that we were going to probably not eat there again and we may even rethink our eating out a couple of times a week. It certainly wasn’t worth...

Horrible! Do not eat here they will try to screw you over and you will not get food! Went with family after a graduation. Service was horrible. It took forever to get our food. I ordered a California salad with Salmon. The waiter tried to give it to me with chicken . I said I order it with Salmon. If he would have stepped up and did he made a mistake, that would have been more acceptable! Instead of lying!He knew the difference between chicken and salmon. Then he told me a lie and said someone must have else just have taken it. He should have just said he did not put the order in right.he made a mistake, that would have been more acceptable! Instead of coming up with an excuse and charging me for 2 salads ! Thanks responsibility for your actions!l The waitress that took our order had to leave before it was all over. He charged me for 2 salads to fix his mistake! Then the waitress gave me my bill. I told her I only had 1 salad and not to run my card until she fixed my card, what does she do she runs it anyway. I should not have been charged anything at all after all of there mistakes! No was getting a migraine the waitress that took over and ran my card when I told her to tell me the price was taking forever! She didn't not even apologize! Which is not acceptable! They should have stepped right in and completely competed my meal! Especially after after they made a mistake with my dinner and my bill it should have been competed! Visit for lunch June 12, 2023. Disappointed!! No lemonade, no root beer for my 5 year grandson. Never offered juice or milk. So he had Dr pepper to drink. Potato soup very Disappointed. I took 1 bite. You can tell it comes from a can/package. But the worsted part was the server scratching the spoon with her nail to remove food off it then try to hand me the spoon to eat with!! When i told the server i wouldn't use the spoon, she went to the host. Then the host brought me one. I try to talk to the host about the server using her nail to scrape the spoon, the host walked away without a word. Both women looked unhappy with me. After 3 spoons later, which I never used any of them. I used a fork to take a bite of the soup. Soup and salad is all I get from here. Because the last few years your menu changes have nothing on it I like to eat. I have tried some of your dishes and the quality is not there. Every time I get a pasta dish, it's cold. Your chicken is never cooked properly, it's hard to chew. Now the quality of your potato soup has dropped. I feel like I'm eating greasy, low quality cheese with maybe a few chunk of potatoes.
