While in Drive Through Lane apparently taking too long for my fruit smoothy and grilled chicken wrap, the car behind me enlightens me to the fact that if I don't move within ten seconds or less, HE will be retrieving his "LOADED" gun from under the seat of his car and putting a round of bullets in my head.
He then starts the COUNTDOWN!
I tell the girl at The window to call Fort Pierce Police 'NOW' to which the manager interjectes and states "I DON'T REALLY WANT TO GET INVOLVED!" To which the Fry-Cook now chimes in and states "I DONT THINK HE WILL REALLY KILL YOU"! And he closes the drive through window in my face.
Now the guy behind me is arguing with others too, apparently "we are all going to get bullets in our heads". People are honking, it's a mess!
I finally grab my phone call 911 for myself, I couldn't even get the manager to give me the address of the establishment, when ASKED she tore off a receipt and told me "Our address is on the Top of the Receipt".
It's at this point where Mr. CRAZY MAN "I HAVE TO EAT THIS SECOND OR I'M GOING TO COMMIT MASS MURDER" starts counting yet AGAIN 6,5, 4, 3, 2, 1....
I move to a safe spot....
Rather than HOLD HIM AT THE WINDOW, These "Fools" GIVE HIM HIS FOOD AND HE DRIVES AWAY.
Police were AWESOME.. I was still on the phone with 911 operator and police cars were pulling in.
McDonalds CLAIMS THEIR CAMERAS are broken and can not verify the events that "I state have unfolded", nor can VERIFY his plate/Tag, make, and or MODEL/YEAR.
It's hard to ascertain these facets when you are in a linear lane, straight and narrow, bumper to bumper... it was though suggested by the 17 year old FRY Cook that I get out of my car and take a picture of his PLATE/tag.... YEAH.... I decided to forgo "Einstein's suggestion"!
I will be purchasing my large Diet Coke elsewhere.......
Read moreDid a mobile order at 10 pm. Waiting in the drive-thru line for 20 min plus. No one came to the window. No one advised any waiting customer at the drive thro or window that they shut the restaurant down so they could clean because they were closing in 30 min. After waiting for about 20 , I called the phone and was surprised that someone did answer but had a very nasty attitude towards the conversation. They told me that they were not taking any orders at the moment because they were trying to catch up on cleaning and restocking the restaurant amd some other exchanges or words about the app saying my order was ready at the counter, which I could not get because the doors were closed and locked. which is why I was in the drive-thru to begin with. I then proceeded to get out my car and walk up to the drive-thru window as well as another car that was there. Someone to have appeared to be the manager came to the window, also having an attitude I was explaining to her exactly what was going on and that we have been waiting now for over 30 min for our food. She, too, told us that they were not taking any food orders and that we HAD to go back through the drive-thru to get our orders checked in. I told her my order was already approved and stated that it was ready for pick up and she told me that they have not made any orders and that mine was not even in the screen but yet they knew my name from the mobile order. Piss poor attitude for a manager. Then, she slamed the drive-thru window in mine and the other customers' faces and walked off. After that, I left and will be contacting the GM about this.
And prior to that 3 days ago I went for breakfast took 30 min get 5 chicken biscuits...
Read moreTerrible service at this location. At 9:28 pm my family and I came in to order takeout, and an employee named Zayana Smith started demanding that everyone even families in the middle of eating leave the dining area, claiming the lobby closed at 9:30 pm. Yet the posted hours clearly say the lobby is open until 11 pm.
When I asked why, another employee (a lady in yellow who refused to give her name) made an inappropriate comment: ‘it’s always these people.’ She also claimed that the GM usually closes at 9:00 pm and the assistant manager at 9:30 pm, which makes no sense if the posted hours say 11 pm.
It wasn’t until the third time I mentioned that my husband only came into the lobby to place a to go order on the kiosk that the assistant manager (Alexis or Alexia, as she introduced herself) finally admitted that Zayana was giving misinformation, and that we could still order. However, by then she had already rolled her eyes several times, making the entire interaction feel extremely dismissive and unprofessional. Honestly, who feels comfortable ordering food at a place where the staff is already rude? I’d rather take my business elsewhere.
If this location is going to close the lobby at 9:30 pm, then update the hours online and in the app so customers aren’t misled. More importantly, both the employees and the assistant manager need serious training in customer service and communication. Families should not be rushed out mid-meal or treated with such disrespect.
