Finally had a chance to try Chuy’s for the first time, and I’m glad that we did! The things that I really loved about it were: 1) the friendliness and attentiveness of EVERYONE who waited on us was absolutely OUTSTANDING; 2) the speed at which we got our food, in spite of it being a Saturday evening with a 10 minute wait time to get in, was remarkably fast; 3) the portion sizes were REALLY generous, especially given the prices, and; 4) the prices were also incredibly good, compared to what most restaurants charge these days. For those four reasons alone, I’m giving Chuy’s 5-stars, just because they excelled so greatly in those four ways! The only neutral-to-negative observations I would make were: 1) the (complementary) salsa is pretty spicy, so just beware of that if you’re not a huge fan of spice (though they also brought some really tasty, creamy jalapeño dip for our chips, which is was also complementary and not spicy at all), and; 2) the flavor of the food itself overall was quite good… but not the best Mexican I’ve had, including locally. There’s still at least one other Mexican restaurant in town where I think the food is more flavorful, and I think it’s because Chuy’s plays it a little safe when it comes to really assertive spices and ingredients… but their food was still better than the majority of places I’ve tried here in Fort Smith. Overall, I recommend Chuy’s for all of the many positives I’ve mentioned. It was a very positive dining experience from start to finish, and a place that my family and I would be more than happy to eat at again! 👍

We’re SO happy Chuy’s opened in Ft Smith😍(been to locations in several states over the last few years & love them). We stopped by the Ft Smith location the day after officially opening. Salsa is fresh & delicious (like a cross between salsa & pico de gallo). Queso & beans are A+ (bring in a framed photo of your dog for them to hang up in the restaurant & you’ll get FREE QUESO🔥). We also ordered Tex Mex Cheese Enchiladas & a Chile Relleno. They forgot to put sauce on both the enchiladas & Chile relleno, but they brought us some afterwards to put on. Cheese enchiladas were good but only had a tiny amount of cheese so not great (they’re usually 🔥). Chile relleno was good as well. They just opened so we’re cutting them some slack on the food. Bottled beer (no draft beer) but they have icy cold mugs so that makes up for it. Service was great & everybody was friendly. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this isn’t the place. 100% Tex Mex (which is what we love).

I’m so sorry but this was the most off putting experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Never have I ever walked in to a restaurant and left within 2 minutes of getting there. As soon as I walked in, there were many employees chatting at the host stand. From my perspective, it seemed as though me and my fiancé interrupted their conversation. The host was smiling and laughing and as soon as we walked in, she immediately put a sour face on, didn’t even bother greeting us. Such great customer service, right? Well, when we sat down and looked around, the atmosphere was giving “cafeteria” / lunch vibe than a dinner spot. When our server came out with our chips and salsa, it looked like the worst chips and salsa I have ever seen! The salsa looked like it had been sitting out for ages. Looked very unappetizing. And the chips? Stale. They need to fix whatever they’re doing because this ain’t it

I was very excited to try Chuy's in Fort Smith -- I've always had wonderful experiences and food at their location in Norman, OK. My mother, a friend, and I went to the Fort Smith location on Sunday, March 2, at about 11:30 am. We were seated right away and our drinks, chips, and queso were delivered promptly. Then we waited for our food. And waited. And waited.

After about 30 minutes we noticed that the table behind us that had been seated several minutes after us received their food before we did. The waitress explained their entrees "didn't take as long to prepare" as ours did. Then we waited some more.

We then noticed that a few tables that had been seated after us had not only received their food, but that they had paid and left. Our waitress apologized and said that they were waiting on one part of my entree. Did this mean our other food was under a heat lamp?

After we had been waiting for an hour and fifteen minutes, we decided to leave -- we had someplace else we needed to be. We asked the waitress for our check to pay for our drinks and queso, and she sent the manager over. The manager apologized profusely, told us we didn't have to pay for anything, and said she would get to the bottom of why our food didn't come out. As a former restaurant server and manager, I would think coupons or a free voucher would be in order but, whatever. None of us will be back.

I do have to say our server was wonderful. Very apologetic and she kept our drinks and chip basket filled. Good thing since that was all...

I was truly excited to find this restaurant that recently opened was a Tex mex restaurant (myself personally I like traditional) the chips and dips the dip was excellent I know if I were forced to eat there I’d only eat that. First we sat there before anyone acknowledged us, i ordered and adult beverage it took forever. I wasn’t impressed at all with their food but thought I only took 2 bites off my plate my second bite was almost the most disgusting thing I’ve ever experienced I literally had to pick TWO BLACK LONG HAIRS OUT OF MY MOUTH horrible I mean literally so the manager comes to speak with me she had an arrogance about herself right as she opened her mouth listen I had why would I ate there if I didn’t . I told the manager no one at our table has long black hair, she had the audacity to say REALLY she was very smug to me. My first time and definitely my last time I’ll ever eat there. If you’re looking for a good Mexican restaurant ask me I’ll tell you where to go, I DO NOT AND NEVER WILL GIVE ANY REFERRALS TO EAT THERE!! Horrible place. And if you’re reading my review then at least take what I’m saying and into consideration because you’re gonna not like it and if you do it then that’s sure that’s cheap but I can’t stand that place. The food...
