Be Thai - Food and Bar — Restaurant in Fort Walton Beach

I’m being nice by giving this restaurant 3 stars (which is a long shot from the quality). I just got back from picking up $40 worth of food for just myself and must say this has to be the worst Thai/Asian food in the area both taste and price wise. I would not recommend at all. They obviously use just Lipton and condensed milk in their Thai tea and it’s horrid. I have had the same order in many other cities throughout the U.S. and it’s always half the cost and three times as delicious as this, I would rather have ate $40 and probably felt more satisfied with it. I will never return and will tell everyone who asks to try Sakura or hell even Jin jins (Atleast their portions and quality relate to the price). I really wonder how this place even has 4.6 stars but then I figure when I went in there it’s all old white people who think pepper is...

Placed my order online and went to pick it up. I paid for my food in the store and the person at the register told me it would take another 10-15 minutes for my food to be ready. I waited almost an hour for my food and there was absolutely no apology or explanation as to why it took so long. I work in a restaurant, I know how to give good service to customers and I did not receive that. I got home and the food wasn’t even that good. Family owned Thai restaurant provided excellent customer service and super mega delicious food. We had the shrimp drunken noodles and the tofu pad Thai. The food came out hot and well prepared, great portion size, really good flavor, and excellent presentation. The locale is small but you cannot trade real family cooking for a bigger building.
