Love me some Healthy Coast Meals! I've been a customer for about 2 years now. The ready-to-eat high protein meals are yummy, super convenient, and 100% worth the cost. Honestly, when I have super busy weeks, the meals are life savers. My toddler even likes them! Thankfully, our two favorites are on the Staple Menu: Burrito Bowl and Turkey Meatloaf. I like the rotation of specials, because that gives me a little variety. The two I've liked the most are Zucchini Noodles with Turkey Meatballs and, most recently, the Turkey Bruschetta Burger. The quality and flavor of the meals are consistent week to week. I like that ingredients are clearly listed on each container, the website notes allergens, and each meal I get only takes 90 seconds to heat up. The customer service has been great, too! In two years I've only had one "iffy" experience, but I figured that person was having an off day or not feeling well. I did send an email the one and only time I had concerns about a couple meals going bad prior to the listed date. I received a response very quickly (from the owner, I think) and was satisfied with the offered solution. These days Healthy Coast keeps getting better and better - now there's an app AND I can place an order for pick up at a specific time. At first I was hesitant about what dates I'd receive, because I need them to last for the week. So far, when I pick up on Sunday the meals are good through Thursday, which is perfect for me. Lastly, the ICONIC green and orange wacky guys out front. My toddler LOVES those things. Sometimes we do a driveby just to see them and others down Eglin Pkwy. It seems they're replaced once they start to fade in the bright Florida sun. That probably is costly, but I certainly notice that detail and professional presentation. Keep up the good work, Healthy Coast Meals Team! I appreciate how you make my life easier with healthy, delicious, high protein meals. The wacky guys are a...
Read moreI am in Fort Walton for two weeks on a work trip. Eating high protein with clean ingredients to fuel my work day and gym routine is non-negotiable for me. I originally set out to purchase meals from Cleaneatz because I have seen them in my hometown but never tried them. Turned out that their meals were only frozen after being out for a week. Once defrosted they had to be eaten immediately. This just wasn’t going to work for me with only a hotel fridge and freezer tray. Thankfully I passed by Healthy Coast meals just after leaving cleaneatz. I stopped in and let the girl know my needs. She set me up with some meals and I have been eating them all week and weekend. They are SO good! I am just so pleased too because total was about $200 for 10 meals. However the price is worth the quality of the food. Which is a big factor for me as well. Honestly the few times I have ate out I just wished I ate my Healthy Coast meal instead. The burger salad is the best! I’m SO happy I saw them off the road. I honestly think their food looks more fresh and appealing than Cleaneatz. The food does taste really fresh as well. Protein donuts are such a great and tasty snack. I had the chocolate and blueberry chocolate chip. I’d say the only thing is they are lacking on salt for seasoning but other than that this is one of the best meal prep places I have had. I have tried factor meals too and healthy coast is SO much better. I have also had the steak and potatoes, and eggs sausage and potatoes. Both great choices. Excited to eat the Cuban pork and chicken enchiladas this week. Please open one in Colorado Springs! I know I will be back for future work trips so I will definitely be...
Read moreWalking into the place is clean and very nice. The girl was very helpful and took a few minutes to explain to me all of the options. I currently get my meals from Clean Eatz and wanted to give this place a shot. I knew it was more pricey, but I am not one to be cheap if it means better. Let me start by saying that the amount of options is....disappointing. I decided on a chicken meal with asparagus and potato wedges. Chicken was beyond overcooked and took every bit of tooth and jaw strength I had to eat. I know asparagus is only really good when eaten fresh, but again this was overcooked and pretty much goop, the potatoes were fine. I did grab two of the donuts because I heard people rave about them, and they were pretty good for a healthy sweet snack. I am going to stick to Clean Eatz for a few reasons. More options, they will make you fresh hot meals if you desire, and having pretty much the same dish before at Clean Eatz it was much better. Lastly, Clean Eatz is quite a bit cheaper. I may give it another shot in the future but for now I will stick with what is...
