Coaster's — Restaurant in Fort Walton Beach

It's been awhile since I've visited.Coasters. Coasters is like the late night spot after all the bars have closed and everybody is off work. Coasters has made many improvements and also created a very fun atmosphere. They have live bands, singers, they are video games playing above the bar area, they have TVs and pool tables. There are about I guess four main areas. They have an outside bar that's kind of like a patio area, then there is one area that is semi outside that looks like a tunnel (really cool) there's another main bar area with tables for large and medium groups, and also tables for a small group. This is also the area where bands perform . They have a great list of beer options, mixed drinks and whatever you fancy ( they also have PBR' s which is so cool). The local artist Cole performed the night I was there, He's really a great artist and a kind soul. I enjoyed myself, and my friend did too. It was fun to see how many people from the local area the chilling out and enjoying the space. I want to take a second to mention the bartenders and the all the bar staff. They were very attentive to everyone that came to the bar, they appear to be knowledgeable and and friendly, cool people. I have been coming here since I was 21. I am now 23 yet a security guard didn’t not let me in after he broke my nail set. I had just got my nails done. I payed 85 dollars for the set on a bachelorette night: he broke it and after I said “ouch that hurt! I think you just broke my nail!” He said “you can go!” I asked “why” confused. Since I’ve been going to this bar for 2.5 years. He said “you’re being too much”. My response was “sir please let me speak to a manger. You broke my nail when I was handing you my id. It hurt really bad. I’m bleeding front my nail. How can you refuse a manger after this situation? What have I done to not let me in?” His response was “you can leave now.” Never have I ever received such poor customer service. I absolutely love this place and would recommend it but unfortunately a employee has a personal issue with me,nothing I’ve done in the bar but words I’ve said to him through text,so he banned me and when the gm talked to said employee he told him he felt like there have been numerous times where I have made him uncomfortable... when in fact I haven’t I got my drink and would leave we might of had eye contact but other then that I did nothing or said anything to make him feel uncomfortable so now even on his days off I can’t go to the place I used to love and tipped really well. I understand the gm is just doing his job to make sure his employees never feel uncomfortable in the work place but I feel like I should be allowed to go in the days he is off and would gladly leave if he was there.
