So this would have been a five star review but for one thing. Which I’ll get to at the end. I was on holiday visiting from Scotland for the first time, spending time with my brother. Upon arriving at the bar I thought it was a cool spot and a fun atmosphere. Undoubtedly it was the bartender Kinley who was integral to this. She welcomed us, took time between serving to hear about my trip and was a great laugh. She contributed to a really important and fun evening for my brother and I who hadn’t seen one another in over a year. So for that I’m extremely thankful. 5 star all the way for Kinley. However having returned home yesterday I found out that Kinley had been accused of being “rude” that evening by one customer and fired the next day. Frankly I find the owners decision to be ridiculous as if you asked everyone else in the bar that night they would have nothing but high praise for Kinley. So you lost yourselves two stars and a brilliant member of staff. Perhaps look to treating your staff with a little more respect...

I was excited about bringing a few friends to the Love Island watch party Soundside promoted on Facebook, but our first experience wasn’t great. Me & a friend arrived early, before the crowd, and the only bartender was immediately rude when we tried to browse the menu. As the rest showed up, they were met with the same attitude while patiently waiting to order drinks. Legitimately bonding with other random customers about receiving the same unprovoked treatment. Management didn’t seem to be present to address any of our concerns nor a different person to buy a cocktail from. Although it was a gorgeous spot, we left after only one drink because the atmosphere was so uncomfortable.
