Tijuana Flats — Restaurant in Fort Walton Beach

The only good thing that I enjoyed out of my entire experience at Tijuana Flats was that there was one gentleman that offered to clear my table and refill my drinks after my horrendous customer service experience at the register I am a severe asthmatic and the lady at the register informed me that I had no choice but to wear a mask inside the building while I was trying to order my food I have paperwork stating that I do not have to wear a mask as a result of my condition I did not even get a chance to explain myself or any of this to the girl because before I could ask any questions she made sure I had a mass in my hand that they provided and told me I had to put it on in order to order my food when I asked her if I had to have a mask on outside to be able to eat my food she replied that no but that I would have to wait on a manager to come out to serve me in order to order my food again kudos to the gentleman who came out and cleared my table and offered to get me a refill he was very kind but the lady I dealt with at the register made me feel like I would not want to come back to Tijuana Flats I understand she's just trying to do her job but she also needs to be understanding while doing her job of other...

Update to my 2018 review:

Easily the best restaurant in the Fort Walton Beach area. You don't need a high price point or white linens to serve the best food and deliver the best service. Tijuana Flats FWB is a testament to that. The food is out of this world and the hot sauces are all incredible. Menu has changed often, which I believe keeps things exciting, even though I still miss Tropical Curry Delight. The produce is always fresh and the blackened chicken is not to be overlooked. TF's menu is also very flexible. You can easily design a delicious low calorie meal by checking any dish's nutritional information online. If you're not counting calories, TF makes the perfect shrimp taco. It's unreal. Paired with Ocean Deck Rasta Sauce and Habanero Salsa, it's the perfect dish. Their rewards program is very useful, too. All of the staff at this location are wonderful people: friendly, knowledgeable, and they care. Not sure what we did in life to deserve an amazing, delicious, high-quality, and affordable...

Just went in to eat for the first time. Masks are required upon entry, but allowed off when seated and eating. The girl up front was friendly and helpful, when we asked for recommendations and popular favorites. They have a large assortment of hot sauces, so if you love hot sauce, you will love it here. My companion ordered the beef enchiladas, which I sampled... it was delicious! I ordered the loaded chicken(also delicious!), which comes as a burrito or tostada. I chose the tostada, with spicy salsa(you can choose regular salsa instead of spicy). We also ordered the loaded guacamole, which is mixed with cheese, cilantro, and bacon, and comes with tortilla chips. The guacamole was perfect for when the hot sauces started to burn my tongue, cooling the burning sensation I felt, so that I could continue tasting the different sauces they had.
