I went in and used the restroom before ordering. The sink was out of order and I had to go into the men's bathroom to wash my hands. Minor annoyance, not a big deal. Saw some people sitting at the table eating food so I went to the register to order. One guy working and didn't notice me. I just waited patiently. Made eye contact with the woman sitting down at the drive thru on her phone. She looked back down at her phone. I continued to wait patiently and the guy still doesn't notice me. It's cool, he's working. I didn't call out to get his attention, just stood there patiently waiting. Lady makes eye contact again then gets up and gets his attention (instead of her just taking my order). Then she walked past him toward me and looked me dead in the eye and told me if I wanted to order i would have to go through the drive thru. I asked her "so I have to go outside, get in my car, and drive around the building to tell you what I want?" (Even though I'm literally standing there about to tell her what I wanted which was literally French fries.) The guy tried to say I could just tell him but he excuse was that they were short staffed and didn't have anyone to take my order at that register and she would have to go back to the drive thru register to put my order in. 😒 I just said no thanks and left. I'm not sure what happened to customer service but I'm pretty sure the people eating at the table were served inside. And for clarification same there was nobody in the drive thru or in line behind me. They didn't have anyone else to serve. I'm good. I'll go home and cook...
Read moreHow does someone mess up so bad? I worked at wendys for two years and could never imagine messing up someone’s order so bad. I ordered a spicy ghost pepper ranch chicken sandwich. The lady taking my order kept interrupting me while I taking my order as it seemed she was having trouble understanding a simple order. I asked to add onion to one of the sandwiches ADD NOT ONLY. I received my order and was told wait don’t leave we missed your fries and nuggets. How do you forget that?? It’s a combo for a reason. I left to find out that my chicken sandwich had nothing but a ton of onion. I said add not only so I drove back to have them fix it. When I came back there was a delivery truck blocking the drive thru and the lobby was closed. I eventually had an employee come to me and I calmly explained how my sandwich was made incorrectly. They took the sandwich and “fixed it”. The employee ran away before I checked it. Once I checked it I was immediately upset. When has a wendys sandwich ever had three buns. 🤦♀️ It was completely wrong it wasn’t spicy ghost pepper. I don’t think any of the ingredients were correct. It doesn’t CONTAIN PICKLE or MAYO OR A THIRD BUN!!!!. Where are my other ingredients and it’s not spicy. Worst...
Read moreWhen we ordered our food, the staff member assumed, without asking, to substitute our combo meal drinks for the frosties we ordered in addition to our combos. We didn't find out until we had paid and asked for our cups that we had no drinks with our meals. Our food arrived luke-warm (junior whopper and regular whopper), not hot as one would expect, with the exception of the fried chicken sandwich. The new frostie swirls were not good. The strawberry swirl had only a small amount of strawberry. The brownie frostie swirl was ordered to be with chocolate ice cream but came as vanilla with a huge, brown blotch of grainy chocolate "something" in the center. It certainly wasn't a swirl and it did not taste like brownies but had a texture that was off-putting and left a bad, chemical after-taste. The staff was playing music and chatting loudly, or talking with friends who came into the restaurant, or out behind the restaurant chatting on cell phones (seen when our family was leaving). The combo of cold food, poor service, and unpleasant flavors is too much for us to revisit this Wendy's in the future. We like Wendy's but this was a truly...
