I had the Shigs In Pit beef brisket kolache and the ham-eggs-cheese-jalapeno kolache. Both are excellent and a great value. What I like best about kolaches is that they are not messy like a sandwich. When you bite into a sandwich the insides squeeze out and drop onto your plate/lap/car seat. A kolache is a treat with the filling sealed neatly inside a spherically shaped bun. No mess. They have carry-out and dine-in. I definitely recommend this place.

Made the 1hr drive from Coldwater, MI, just to try these and it didn't disappoint!!! Met the owners and they were nice to chat with. I Basically ordered everything on the menu besides the vegetarian, crab ragoon and the cinnamon roll. AND THEY'RE ALL AMAZING! The Meatball, Texas Hotlink, Jalapeno Popper and Raspberry Cream were my favorite, but all of them were delicious! Will make the drive often for them! Thank You

We stumbled across this spot and, I have 1 word to describe it, WOW!!🤩 Absolute game changer!! Friendly faces, spotless space, and food that makes you rethink every other place you’ve eaten lately.

The owner said, He just wants people to try just one. And he was not lying!! One bite and you’re hooked!! We tried Buffalo Chicken, Chorizo Egg & Cheese, and Raspberry Cream Cheese. Every single one was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely addicting.

This isn’t a, maybe check it out someday, kind of place. This is a, Drop what you’re doing and RUN here!!! Kind of place. We can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!! We’ve already recommended to family!!! 🤗

Amazing breakfast shop with great options and super friendly staff!! Highly recommend especially if you don’t know or haven’t tried a Kolache!!

I’m from the Houston area and many people in the Midwest don’t know what a Kolache is. Trying to explain what one is to someone in IN is pretty hilarious. That said, this breakfast dish is an amazing/tasty breakfast option!! Flavors are rich and vary between a wide range of savory and sweet. This is such a wonderful, unique addition to the Fort Wayne food scene! The staff and service are wonderful, the interior is clean and inviting, and the kolaches are amazing! You can tell they're baked fresh every morning. It's very affordable and there are options for everyone (including gluten free and other food allergy-friendly options). I'd say most people will be satisfied with 2-3 kolaches. Maybe 4 if you're super hungry. There's no drive-thru, but you can order ahead and have them...
