Starbucks — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

First - my Venti Mocha Latte, triple shot was spot on "perfect!" Love, love the Kale, mushroom bites!! THIS is my "always" food 98% of the time!! Been "my" choice for at least 15 yrs now! YES - This is a very rare, NO seating Starbucks due to store size & location, but with the right crew (remember people "they are human" & on extreme busy days some get grumpy) - but all gets done. So, quit grouching about minor things. The biggest 'bad' is the placement of that Dumpster out back! With it sticking out due to that companies driver having poor inabilities of his job, it can be hard at night, in the dark, for certain drivers to dodge that thing. The other bad is that "concrete" abutment as you 'drive away' from the drive-through window!? Very poor design & 'this can' be "quite dangerous" due to drivers trying to fly out of the drive-thru in a hurry! From the damage to the concrete it is easy to see that "not everyone" is able to SEE that concrete sticking out or drive around it!! Of which - tire & rim damage is ALL on the customer choosing to...

I’ve never walked into a Starbucks where the energy was just off. One person working at the front & she acknowledged me but then went back to helping the drive thru when I was there before that person even pulled up..then there was another person in the back messing with stuff but never came out till after 10 mins went by… She also had a negative vibe about her too like they both didn’t wanna be there nor help me I wanna say.. my breakfast sandwich didn’t even taste like she left it in the oven long enough & my drink looked and tasted like str8 water like she just rushed through it all just so she could get back to whatever she was doing.. I then go back in and have the first lady I saw make it over and she seemed like that was such a big deal 🤣

All in all I’ll never return to this Starbucks & I’ll continue to spend my money at the one downtown where there...

Just a heads up- if they are out of the brew that you ordered (ex. Pike Place) they will literally put a different type in your cup than you ordered. I watched a barista put a “dark” in my cup after realizing the “pike” was all out. If I’m going to pay this price for coffee I at least want what I ordered.

Edit in response- I told the barista I saw exactly what she did. She then told me, “that’s our dark roast for the day “. I then turned the cup around so she could once again look at the tag that stated “pike place” in large print on the top. She then offered to remake it. I took the offer and said nothing else. I then left with my coffee.
